Isolation Bay

I stayed here on the same day ten years ago and chose this place for this reason. The hotel is actually a villa, far away from the town. It takes 18 minutes to drive from the big supermarket in the town. It is the only one within a radius of 5 kilometers and is close to Lake Tekapo. There is no light pollution, so it is a great place to watch the stars at night. There are five rooms with ten beds each, suitable for small groups, and no single rental. The facilities are the same as they were ten years ago and are very outdated. You can chop wood to burn the fireplace, and there are complete cooking facilities. It is far away from the town, so you need to communicate with a service point in the town to understand the specific location and route of the hotel, and you need to buy enough food in the town supermarket. The hotel has no signal, but has WiFi.
