Very close to the centre of Tekapo, very convenient.   Check in is very smooth.   A little farm just 100 meters away, can see sheep and Alpaca.    The house is nicely decorated.   Can see the galaxy clearly at the garden.  

This time, my family, friends and I traveled to Australia and New Zealand for more than half a month. We changed 6-7 places to stay, including five-star hotels and B&Bs. Mackenzie is the only one I want to comment on (not to say that the others are bad). The living experience was completely beyond my expectations. The space was large, the facilities were complete, and the environment was first-class. Cathy was kind and friendly. She slowly introduced everything to me, whose English was not very good, and recommended restaurants to me. Thank you very much! I must go to Cathy's house next time I go to lake tekapo!

I always like the kitchen facilities. I always go to the supermarket before moving in. There is a garage downstairs, or you can go through the side door upstairs and take the stairs. The living room is spacious, facing the lake, and you can lie on the sofa to watch the sunrise.

This apartment is the most satisfying place on this trip. It can be said to be amazing. First of all, all the equipment is available, just like going home. Then the apartment is incredibly large. The living room and kitchen are so big that you can do somersaults. The equipment is very new and clean. The kitchen is equipped with all possible supplies. The scenery here is also great. You can see the lake from the living room. There are two super large balconies. Our family of three lives in two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a small farm not far away where you can pet animals. It takes only a few minutes to drive to the town center. In short, everything is perfect, but it’s a pity that we only stayed for one night. Facilities: Everything is available. The first thing we did when we arrived was to wash and dry clothes. It’s so convenient. The heating is also super comfortable, the bathroom is brand new and clean, the kitchen appliances are very complete, and there is free milk. Advantages: The B&B is a large suite, which feels like home. The interior decoration is very attentive and tasteful. The front yard has a lake view, and the backyard is open to the sky to take pictures of the stars. Disadvantages: You need to climb stairs to move your luggage to the second floor. The bathroom shower room in the living room is blocked. I stargaze until late and take a shower at midnight. The shower water is very good, but because the floor drain is blocked, I have to turn off the water after half a minute of showering. I stand in the shower room and wait for 3 minutes for the water to seep in very slowly, so I took the fastest shower in my life. There are hairs on the bed and the bedding smells a bit. I think it may be time to wash the pillow core.

The house is nice, although there are many roads and houses between the lake and the hotel. The key is that the service is not good. When I got the key, I said it was too late and I would check out at 10 o'clock tomorrow. I immediately said "that's not how we work". It's not that I want to occupy the room, but I'm afraid that the children will be late, so I can only delay it for half an hour at most. I could have been more polite when I refused. It's not very comfortable.

It's clean and tidy. The children like the fireplace in the room very much. Sitting around the fire at night is very cozy and very cost-effective.

It was my first time staying in a homestay apartment. It was very clean overall. We arrived late and the old landlord kept waiting. It was very hard for the old man to sleep so late. I am very grateful to him. The two rooms are very homely and warm. There are air conditioners and fireplaces, which are very comfortable in winter. I have two children who are 4 and a half years old and they were charged extra... This was unexpected. Generally, it is OK for children of this age not to occupy beds, but it was too late and the whole family was very tired, so we didn't care. It is more important to communicate with the landlord in advance. I don't know why there is a charge. We didn't have breakfast either, which needs to be ordered in advance. Facilities: average. Can't cook food with strong smell, such as frying steak. If the smell is strong, you will be charged. Hygiene: OK. The bathroom is relatively small. Environment: Very good. I went out for a walk in the morning. Service: Very good. Satisfied. But the internet is really bad.

The hotel is in a very good location, very close to the Church of the Good Shepherd by car. The rooms are well-equipped, spacious and clean. There is a supermarket near the hotel, so it is convenient to eat.

A great house with a homey feel. The host, Cathy, is very welcoming, arranges the room in an orderly manner, helps you plan your travel itinerary, and always shows up when you need her.
