Parking right outside unit which is very thoughtful as we have luggages. The room is spacious and the plenty of kitchen ware. However only salt and pepper are provided, no cooking oil or sauces. The host is very kind to upgrade our room too. Not to mention the excellent view the place offers.

Aside from the slightly high price, the environment is quite good. The room opens directly onto a lawn, which made me feel a bit insecure since it's right by the road.

The suite has a fully equipped kitchen, and the rooms are very spacious. Each room has heating, making it super comfortable for a winter stay. Even the bathroom floor is heated! The jacuzzi is big and relaxing. This is definitely my go-to place for my next visit to the Lake District.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff and nice location, recommend

The hotel room rates were quite high for the May Day holiday, over 2300. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the bridge on the main road of the small town, and quite close to the lake. Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. The front desk staff, an elderly gentleman, was very enthusiastic in explaining the hotel's facilities and important information. If you're driving, you can park your car directly in front of your room, which is free and very convenient. The room is relatively spacious, and the kitchen appliances are very well-equipped – just remember to clean them after use. The ground-floor rooms have direct access to the lawn for stargazing. The night we stayed, we stepped outside and saw the Southern Cross constellation directly overhead! However, a downside is the poor sound insulation; the traffic noise from the town was very clear, though it got better once we fell asleep.

The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the church. The room is very modern and clean, and the shower pressure is great and comfortable. Just note that the front desk isn't staffed until 2:30 PM, so no need to arrive too early. For check-out in the morning, just leave your key card in the small basket. The service was very friendly, and they even showed me to my room.

The price is a bit high, and there are no laundry facilities, but the location is excellent – very close to Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd. We stayed on the second floor. The front desk kindly provided a complimentary bottle of milk. Just note that the front desk has fixed hours and isn't available 24/7 for check-ins.

Excellent, very satisfied! The views are great and the apartment is a large single-floor unit (a definite upgrade from the multi-level suites at Pepper Blue across the street). Every room is spacious, and cooking is convenient. We stayed in Tekapo for two days, and this day was noticeably more comfortable than the other. My parents were very happy.

Highly recommend! This place is really well-designed and beautiful. The room was clean, and it's super close to the Church of the Good Shepherd, just a short walk over the bridge to the town center. They have a laundry room, and the gentleman at the front desk was so thoughtful; he kindly helped us with change and showed us how to use the machines. Much appreciated! The Chinese stargazing tour picked us up right where the last picture was taken. The weather wasn't great when we went, but honestly, we saw more stars in the little courtyard behind the hotel than we did at the actual stargazing spot. We lucked out and got a room when someone checked out. I was initially worried that booking late meant we'd have a bad view, and there was a slight obstruction, but it really didn't bother us at all. Loved it! I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The environment is great, and the facilities are brand new. It's one of the few hotels truly deserving of a five-star rating.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect 10 - View, Location, and Style! We just returned from a fantastic stay and this hotel exceeded all our expectations. The View: Let's start with the obvious—the view is simply spectacular. Waking up to that scenery was an experience in itself. The Location: The location is unbeatable. We were right in the heart of everything, with easy walking access to main attractions. It was the perfect home base for exploring Lake Tekapo, yet the hotel itself felt like a peaceful retreat. The Room: The modern furnishings were a delight. The room was clean, stylish, and felt very fresh. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed, smart TV, and jacuzzi. It’s clear the owners have put a lot of thought into the design and comfort. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit. Don't hesitate to book!

The room was really comfortable and spacious, overlooking the lake, there is a busy road in front of the lake but it’s didn’t bother us too much, could get noisy when the big trucks passed through.. you don’t hear anything if you shut the balcony door. Everything was perfect, i couldn’t give 5/5 because the only issue was the shower control lever was missing a screw so it wouldn’t stay on unless I held it in position which was not easy as the water temperature was not stable unless it wash held in that precise position. We couldn’t report it to reception as they closed at 7pm. Apart from that everything else was perfect.
