Extended Stay America Select Suites - Lakeland

Rooms were bare bones but not terrible. Cleanleness could use some improvements. The rooms even though non smoking smelt of smoke and woke up very stuffed up as a result( allergies) water temperature in the shower luke warm at best so be prepared!! Only had two towels nothing to put on the floor after showering or no hand towels to dry hands after washing. Bring your own toiletries as those aren't provided either. The blinds had dust built up on them and were light filtering at best so again not helpful when the lights outside are bright and the room inside is still bright. Bed was ok, firm bedding smelt clean which i appreciated.

The room had a lot of roaches and they came knocking at the door at 9am when the check out was at 11am.

The beds and floor aren't compatible the beds slide every time you move or sit , didn't remote didn't work didn't want to go ask for them to assist, 3/10

TV was on when I entered the room. Remote control didn't work. Window left open, making it very noisy overnight in room. Front desk error resulted in a staff member waking me up, telling me that the room was logged as vacant, and I had to leave. resolved

COMPLETELY NEGLECTED DIDN'T EVEN GET TO GET INTO THE ROOM BECAUSE THERE WAS NO ONE THERE TO CHECK ME IN

The room is decent but the facilities are always dirty. The elevator is consistently dirty and very slow, the back door card reader is broken and it happens to be the main door for the residents. The parking lot is occupied by some very interesting people that tend to stay up all night. But overall for an emergency situation I'm satisfied.

Room was disgusting and outdated. bed sheets were covered in crumbs and dirt. floor was covered in trash and dirt. no soap or towels in room.

There were bed bugs and dirty mattresses. I have a photo and a video of this. Additionally, the door to the room did not close unless it was pushed about a half inch into the frame and then locked with the deadbolt. I immediately checked out after checking in and seeing the mattresses. In total, I was in the room about 5 minutes and at the hotel about 15 minutes. The person at the front desk said that a woman with a cat was living in that room for several years and had checked out the week prior. I booked through ******* and was told by ******* and the Hotel front desk that I wouldn't be charged, but I see a charge on my credit card for the cost of the room by Extended Stay.
