Solid, old style, well built hotel. Great location for visiting downtown Northampton & Smith College. Very quiet, comfortable with large rooms. A big favorite of mine.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Since it's a historic hotel, there were fewer electrical plugs to charge all of our gadgets. That wouldn't deter me from staying again, but something to be aware of depending upon your needs.

They have a rule that sates you are not allowed to have alcoholic beverages in your room unless you buy it from the bar/restaurant on premise or you will be charged, possibly kicked out. This is completely non-sensical and for that reason, I won't ever be staying here again. On a positive note. The bartender at Wiggins, Cheri, was very pleasant.

It’s a large old hotel that hasn’t quite caught up to the 21st century. My room had no place to plug in my devices and no available outlet.
The bed was comfortable the bathroom new but the room itself was tiny.

This is a very comfortable well-served hotel. However it has two restaurants. Wiggins Tavern which is excellent but closed much of the week. The Coolidge Cafe is simply awful, poorly prepared food and a limited menu. Breakfast so terrible I had to send it back.

We stayed Hotel Northampton from 2016 .
We love location ,easy parking walking distance to college and downtown.
Beautiful Classic Hotel with history and all staffs are very friendly with warm hearts !
We will return in May for our daughter’s graduation!! See you then !
