I was planning a trip to Jingmai Mountain and found this newly opened restaurant. It was remarkably clean and new for the village, and the view was fantastic. Having explored the village, I can confidently say the terrace offered the best view. Choosing this place was definitely the right decision. The owners were incredibly welcoming and talkative; we had a wonderful time chatting. They even invited us to join their barbecue that evening. The young couple were very nice and left me with unforgettable memories of my Jingmai Mountain trip. A friendly reminder: in ancient, pristine villages, insects and animals are unavoidable. It's rare to find a place so clean and safe. They also have a super cute, smart, and well-behaved dog. I'll definitely come back next time!

At the highest point of Jingmai Mountain, it is very suitable for watching the sunset and the sea of clouds. I saw the sea of clouds the next morning. I was very lucky. The sister of the hotel is very good, making tea for us, chatting together, and also actively invited us to her house to roast milk tea for us 🧋 and making waffles 🧇.

Absolutely fantastic! The location in the heart of Wengji Ancient Village is perfect. The room was huge with two 1.5-meter beds, and the young couple who own the place keep it impeccably clean. We arrived during the National Day holiday, and Xiaoqiang came to the parking lot to pick us up and help with our luggage. I definitely wouldn't recommend driving in yourself; the stone road is too steep and narrow. It's only about a ten-minute walk from the hotel to the parking lot anyway. The next morning, Xiaoqiang drove us to see the sea of clouds and explore the ancient tea forests. When we got back, he even cooked us delicious hot rice noodles. They also have ethnic clothing for rent with lots of props, so you can just ask the proprietress to do your hair and you're ready for some photos! Enjoying tea couldn't be easier either, as they have their own high-quality tea.

ps: The following are all up to fate. Please don't be angry if you don't have these treats when you go there!! These are not within the scope of service. It is purely in the off-season and the boss is free and can chat. Please keep a calm mind🙏🏻
It rained heavily that night and we couldn't go out. The boss grilled milk, barbecued meat and grilled small melon for us to eat, and ordered barbecue to send over! The next day, he took us to pick mushrooms and grilled them for us to eat~

The B&B itself is quite new and hygienic. The room on the second floor has floor-to-ceiling windows and is full of green trees. It is very beautiful!!
There are disposable bath towels, free instant noodles, earplugs, and electric mosquito swatters, which are very thoughtful.
There is a tea room on the first floor of the B&B. The boss will make tea for us, and we also ate sweet Wogan!
The boss lady also lent us her electric car to visit the village. If you don't stay, you can rent it 👌🏻

AAnonymous UserThe room is clean, tidy and bright, with complete audio-visual facilities; the shower room is large enough, and the shower head has a large amount of water; the quality of the bedding is higher than that of ordinary B&Bs. I am glad that I chose this store and was able to sleep well. It is very important to have a good rest environment after traveling to Jingmai Mountain. It is inconvenient to take a car between the villages, and there is anxiety about using the car. Fortunately, the beautiful proprietress Xuanman picked us up from the bus to the village and sent us to other villages to take a car to Banna. She is very attentive, thank you. In the evening, we also invited everyone to drink tea and chat upstairs, which was relaxing and comfortable. I recommend everyone to stay.

GGuest UserThis B&B has the most attention to detail of any I've ever stayed in. There's a tea mountain outside the terrace outside the room, and it's very comfortable to sleep on the recliner at night. The tea in the tea basket in the room exudes a lingering fragrance. The proprietress's tea is delicious and she's a very nice person. The whole tea room is elegantly decorated. In the evening, everyone sits together to drink tea, roast sweet potatoes, roast peanuts, and roast baba. It's very happy and highly recommended!

As a self-proclaimed “well-travelled” individual, I never expected Jingmai Mountain to take my breath away again—but it truly did. The journey here is a testament to Yunnan’s untouched beauty, with rolling emerald tea fields, ancient forests, and villages where ethnic tribes have lived for generations.
We decided to stay at Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) instead of the many BnBs on the mountain, having often found those overpriced and lacking in cleanliness. What a pleasant surprise this hotel turned out to be!
From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made it feel like home. Many of the team members come from nearby tea-farming communities, and their passion for the land was palpable. They didn’t just serve tea—they shared stories of the heritage behind it, offering insights into the different tea varieties and local traditions.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality linens. I loved waking up to the sound of roosters and the first rays of sunshine streaming through the window. If you’re like me and prefer to leave the window open at night, the fresh mountain air is the perfect way to start your day.
For breakfast, don’t miss the fresh rice noodles and seafood congee—so flavorful! The fruit selection was also fresh and changed daily.
A pleasant surprise was finding Cha Ling (a premium LVMH brand) as the hotel’s amenity. Made with tea extract, it added a luxurious touch to my stay.
One of my favorite experiences was the traditional tea baking session, Wei Lu Kao Cha. We gathered around a carbon stove, sipped Pu’er tea, ate locally harvested fruit and nuts, and learned to bake our own tea leaves under the guidance of tea masters.
The staff’s pride in their cultural heritage shone through in every interaction, making what could have been a simple stay feel like an immersive cultural journey.
For anyone looking to experience the authentic soul of Yunnan’s tea mountains, Eterna Venue Hotel offers more than just a place to stay—it provides a meaningful connection to this beautiful region.

XXiaoyangduochiyidianWhat an amazing stay at Jingmai Mountain! Before coming, I did some research and felt this place was perfect for an immersive getaway, so my friend and I chose it. The environment is really comfortable. As soon as you enter, you see a century-old tree. The room is also quite spacious, and there's even an elevator for easy check-in, so no worries about lugging bags around. And you don't have to stress about finding food in the mountains because the guesthouse has its own restaurant where you can dine. That evening, we enjoyed roasted milk tea by the fire and a lively bonfire party! The next day, hotel staff even guided us to the back mountain to watch the sunrise, which had a fantastic view. After watching the sunrise, we headed straight down for breakfast.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by ongoing construction. The room was quite small; we couldn't even open two suitcases without blocking the hallway. The hotel has open-air corridors and a restaurant, so it was very, very cold both morning and night. As for breakfast, let's just say there wasn't much variety, just enough to get by. On this trip, we drove from Kunming to Xishuangbanna, covering most of Yunnan, and stayed in various hotels from Atour to Hilton, Sheraton, and other domestic 5-star establishments. While Holiday Inn positions itself as a 4-star hotel, it charges 5-star prices for a 3-star experience. The most unbearable part was a flashing green light in the room that was incredibly bright and blinked every second, severely disrupting our sleep.

LLisanne SchutReally recommend staying here! We booked this hotel last minute, and were really happy with our stay! We were welcomed with delicious local tea. The hosts helped us rent an electric bike which was perfect for seeing the surrounding villages and ancient tea forests. They were very helpful since we don’t speak any Chinese, but this wasn’t a problem at all. The area is really beautiful and special and Jingmai is one of our favorite places in China so far.
The room itself was spacious, new and very clean. Breakfast was delicious.

GGuest UserTraveling solo, I stayed at the Wengji Longbai B&B. It was a very comfortable stay. The owner also owns a roasted milk shop in the village. The fragrant roasted milk can be added with honey or brown sugar, and they even make baked glutinous rice cakes!
A little further, there's an unmarked Old Tree Coffee Shop. Oh, you absolutely must try the pour-over coffee here, whether hot or iced. It's delicious! The aftertaste is so clear and sweet! If you're lucky, they might even offer cold brew. I didn't get to try it this time because they said they didn't have the right beans. If anyone does, please let me know!
Thank you again to Longbai B&B. It was such a great time! The sounds of insects chirping and rain made for a wonderful sleep!

GGuest User1. The owner and his family were very welcoming. We arrived in the middle of the night, and the owner came out to meet us and help with our luggage. He also provided us with plenty of water.
2. The owner's wife invited us to dinner.
3. I checked out and went to explore the village, leaving my clothes hanging out to dry at the owner's house.
4. When I came back, my child wanted to go back to our previous room. I told her we had checked out and couldn't go. The owner's wife was very welcoming and said, ”No problem, go ahead. We haven't packed yet, so it won't affect us.”
5. The owner's family has appeared on the Spring Festival Gala.
6. Many celebrities have visited here.
7. Many variety shows have been featured here.
8. It's right in the village, very convenient.
9. The navigation was slightly off, so if you were 2-3 minutes away from your destination, just ask someone or call the owner.
10. The owner's washing machine is allowed.

VVeraFor a visit to Jingmai mountain this hotel is perfectly situated. The tourist office is right across and from here you can take a bus to Jingmai. Nearby are good restaurants and breakfast noodle places, as well as basic shops with fruit and vegetables. The best thing about the hotel is the incredibly friendly and helpful management, who will assure you have the best experience! Thank you for your kindness and care :)
