The most amazing place to stay in Jingmaishan! The rooms are fantastic, the tea sessions, and candies/snacks are a great touch, and the best part: the hosts. An amazing Bulang couple who know the ins and outs of tea, the mountain and its history. They are super helpful and do their best to accommodate English speakers. Moto rentals for a good price and a restaurant is right across the street from the hotel. Forgot to mention that you wake up to an amazing view of the mountains. If you had any hesitation about staying in Jingmaishan, let this post convince you to book your trip.

Amazing stay! The house is located just outside the village on a quiet road. The rooms are super clean, well equipped, and have air conditioning, which is important in winter. But beyond the house itself, the real highlight is the owner. We shared several tea-drinking sessions where he explained the secrets of Pu’er tea and Bulang traditions and history. Despite the language barrier (we don’t speak Chinese and he doesn’t speak English), he made a huge effort using translator apps, and communication was easy and fun. He is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, we highly recommend spending time drinking tea with him. He also created a WeChat mini-app with guides and information about the area, which we used a lot and found very helpful. Our stay was unforgettable: the Jingmai mountains were the highlight of our trip to China, and we went home with some amazing Pu’er tea and great memories. Looking forward to coming back!

Extremely satisfied! The owner picked us up and dropped us off as soon as we checked in. He's always willing to help whenever he has time, very helpful. The air is great, the second floor has a view of the sea of clouds, and the sunset is beautiful. Most importantly, the owner is so kind! Their tea is also excellent; we bought quite a bit, it's very fragrant and sweet. The toilet is a smart toilet, exceeding our expectations. The air conditioning is strong enough, and the owner's wife is very thorough in cleaning. The location is also great. There are electric scooters and breakfast shops nearby. The owner is truly warm and welcoming!!! Mothers were very satisfied; it's perfect for family trips. The owner is a superman!

It's very nice, with a large room, new facilities, and a great view from the terrace. It feels like a large tea-making company. You can enjoy tea across the street, and there's a tea drying room downstairs. It's a little out of the way, not in the center of the village, but we could easily ignore that by driving.

I've worked at guesthouses in Tonglu, Lishui, Ningde, Hemu, and Shangri-La for a while, and I generally don't leave reviews. 1. This guesthouse has its own mini-program, offering not only room bookings and various agricultural products, but also information on nearby restaurants, attractions, transportation, sunrise and sunset times. This really surprised me, as most upscale guesthouses only offer room bookings and agricultural products. 2. There's a large terrace on the second floor. You can swing and drink tea. 3. You can experience tea picking and tea processing. There are usually tea parties in the evenings where everyone sits and chats. My friend, who works at another guesthouse, also came over for fruit, tea, and conversation. These two nights reminded me of the natural tranquility I experienced when I worked in Hemu, Ningde. 4. The water quality on the mountain is generally poor; it's mostly yellowish. Even here, after two filtrations, the water is still a bit yellow. On my second day, there was a water shortage on the mountain, and sometimes there were power outages, but they were always short-lived. 5. People here generally don't eat breakfast, so they tend to get up late. However, the owner was already treating everyone to tea early this morning in the tea room; yesterday, he took everyone up the mountain to pick tea. 6. The Bulang people are a minority group, and it's already quite admirable that they've tried to embrace inland trends and culture while retaining their hardworking and simple nature.

Environment: It's a standalone building with a small courtyard for parking and flowers, perfect for sitting and chatting. Cleanliness: The room was very clean, with new sheets and quilt covers. Perhaps because it's on the first floor, there was a slight musty smell upon entering, but it dissipated after ventilation. Service: I can say I was very, very satisfied. Every household here has a tea garden and produces tea. They invited us for tea every day, and we could sit and chat for half an hour, enjoying the pleasant atmosphere.
