Lancang Tianzi Xiaozhu Homestay

Super super super super recommended!!! It was so comfortable! The bed was comfortable, and the place was very clean. Most importantly, the view outside was amazing – clouds!! It was incredibly comfortable. I strongly advise against staying in Nuogan; the accommodations there are terrible. I regretted not staying here for all four nights. Staying here made all the difference in Nuogan. The owner was also very nice! Highly recommended! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

I forgot to take a picture of the room, but it was clean and tidy, and the view from the second floor was lovely. The LED mirror was a real plus, making it easy for women to put on makeup. The hostess was also very nice. We took the shuttle bus up, and after contacting her, she came and helped us take our luggage back to the hotel. The location can be a little difficult to find, but I got used to it after walking around for a couple of days. Everything is very convenient. Popular shops like Under the Tamarind Tree and Traveler's Palm are both within a 10-minute walk.

The room was super clean, bug-free, and the hot water was convenient for showering! The owner and his family were incredibly warm and welcoming, making tea and coffee for us and even inviting us to share some delicious jackfruit when they had it. I wanted to stay here for the third night, but it was fully booked. The two days I spent here were incredibly comfortable and relaxing, and the courtyard is beautifully decorated! The entire village of Manghong feels incredibly welcoming and kind! It's my favorite village!

I've traveled to many cities and stayed in many B&Bs, big and small, but this is the first time I've given a bad review. It's completely unworthy of the off-season price of over 600 yuan! First, the location was inaccurate. We called the owner hoping they could show us the way, but they didn't. They only gave us directions over the phone. Fortunately, our taxi driver was very experienced, so we were able to find the place. Without a skilled guide, it would have been difficult to find. Second, upon arrival, there was no typical welcome. They simply stood there and checked us in, standing there indifferently. They didn't even take our IDs or help with our luggage. Next, let's talk about the guest rooms. The smell was incredibly strong upon entering, making me feel dizzy. The cleanliness was also questionable. The frosted glass in the bathroom was covered in urine stains that hadn't been cleaned, which was clearly disgusting. The hot water was also inconsistent during the shower. We booked a room with a bathtub for relaxation, but the bathtub bag that should have come with it wasn't there. We called to inquire, but they just said they forgot to put it in. We asked if they could bring one up, and the owner said they were out of it. They didn't even bother to address the guest's concerns. When we got hungry that night, the room didn't provide a mini bar with snacks or fruit. They just said they didn't have any. It was a truly terrible experience. The projector in the room was also crooked, and the bedside tables were awkwardly arranged. There was only one on one side, and the other side had a phone charger on the floor. The next day's breakfast was also simple, but the problem was that when I went to the kitchen that morning, they only told me they had millet porridge, eggs, and sweet potatoes. They didn't even mention that they could make freshly cooked rice noodles. They only told me after I asked... All in all, from check-in to check-out, I had a completely unpleasant experience. How do you charge such a high price for this kind of service? I highly recommend it! Everyone, beware! !!!

You can't have too high requirements for the homestay in the village, after all, the conditions are there. Newly opened this year, the rooms are large, the bathroom has separate wet and dry areas, and there are large floor-to-ceiling windows from which you can watch the sunset. There is a large platform on the third floor and parking is available in the yard, making it convenient for self-driving. Breakfast includes simple rice noodles, eggs, and glutinous rice dumplings. In the morning, the boss will lead you to watch the sunrise.
