Bolian Resort & Spa Jingmai

The quality of Bolian Hotel is excellent, and this one, nestled at the foot of Jingmai Mountain, was our last stop among their five properties. Before our arrival, our butler, Xiao Wang, added me on WeChat and kindly upgraded our room free of charge, as availability allowed. Throughout our stay, she was incredibly responsive, resolving any issues we had immediately. Even after we checked out, she personally delivered our luggage to the roadside. To catch the sunrise on the mountain, we headed up early. Upon our return, a steaming hot, lavish breakfast was delivered right to our room. Guests also enjoy a complimentary exquisite afternoon tea and even get to participate in making Pu-erh tea, taking home a 375g brick. The food was also delicious; the rice noodle soup was incredibly flavorful – truly top-tier. All the staff were very friendly. If we have the chance, we'll definitely choose to stay here again!

Jingmai Mountain Pu'er is my absolute favorite, the only choice when visiting Jingmai. With a massive footprint, it features just over 30 guest rooms, dedicating vast spaces to common areas, including extremely generous tea rooms and reading nooks – what's not to love? The hotel's service is a major highlight; the restaurant staff remembered us from day one, catering thoughtfully to our daily preferences and dislikes. Doing nothing but sipping tea and basking in the sun in the tea room every day—this is my dreamed life! This time, the hotel's partnered photography service, 'Caomu Tea,' even included a complimentary ethnic costume photoshoot in Nuogan Ancient Village. The makeup and outfits were probably the best in the village. The lady helping us choose photos, Youyou, was incredibly patient, guiding us slowly through the selection without any hard selling. We were very pleased with the photos of our daughter!

It's been a long time since I've been to the Park Lane Hotel. This time, in addition to the beautiful scenery, I felt that the staff in all aspects were professional and enthusiastic. The tea culture is very fitting for Jingmai.

The traditional Pu'er tea cakes were made, two cakes per order. The service was good; they even mailed them back if I forgot mine. The Pu'er tea tasting in the lobby at the Bailian Tea Garden was generally acceptable. However, the facilities were too old. There was a power outage for over ten minutes around 6 AM, and the landline was broken. Fortunately, we were given the phone number of the staff on duty. Because there weren't many guests, everyone seemed quite busy. The worst experience wasn't with the hotel itself, but mainly with taxis in and out of the Jingmai mountain area. It was impossible to book a taxi through the platform, or even if the platform assigned a ride, the driver would get out and demand a higher price, or require a new order via a local app, otherwise they wouldn't accept the ride. The drivers' skill levels varied greatly, and they were very xenophobic, seriously impacting the tourist experience and economic development.

Experience the beauty of Southeast Asia without leaving the country, and even more so! This is Pu'er, the birthplace of world tea culture. A stay at the Jingmai Mountain Bailian Hotel offers quality comparable to the Four Seasons! The Four Seasons in Chiang Mai has seen its prices rise from under 3000 to over 7000, while the Bailian in China boasts an excellent environment without raising prices – truly a bargain. Recommended hotels on Ctrip, such as Chongzuo LUX*, Dunhuang Dongyi, Xiangshawan Lotus, and Kruger Luxury Camp, are all reliable and have provided excellent experiences! The Lancang Bailian Hotel opened in 2011 and has fewer reviews, but it consistently ranks at the top of Ctrip's Jingmai Mountain list. Based on Ctrip's reputation, it was definitely a great choice! Bailian is the pioneering luxury hotel in Jingmai Mountain, introducing the area to the world! The Ctrip package I found was very cost-effective, including dinner and tea cake making (tea cakes alone cost over 300). My child had a fantastic experience and even gained writing material; it also included a photo shoot at a local restaurant, with results comparable to the Platinum Hotel. I recommend booking a 3-day, 2-night itinerary for a more fulfilling experience. I stayed one night at Liushi and one night at Bailian. Ctrip customer service even helped me communicate with the hotel in advance. It happened to be my birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared children's amenities and a cozy turndown service – the attention to detail was impeccable! During dinner, my child accidentally choked on a fish bone in the pickled fish. Around 11 pm, the front desk immediately brought over white rice, thankfully without any serious injury. A small suggestion: For families with children, try to avoid fish with bones for dinner. Pork hock soup would be a better option, and my child especially loved it. The entire hotel blends seamlessly with the surrounding mountains and mist. Staying in a natural oxygen bar is both secluded and therapeutic – definitely worth it! Service: The staff at the front desk, including Mr. Zhou, as well as Guiping, Xiao Chen, Xiao Luo, and Awa, were incredibly responsive and helpful! Traditional Pu'er Tea Cake Making: Zhou Yan, who guided my child in making tea cakes, was clearly very patient, giving my child a wonderful tea-making experience. I will definitely choose Bailian again if I have the chance to visit Heshun in the future.

I saw many negative reviews before staying there, but it exceeded my expectations. This is the only Bailian hotel without a hot spring, and the scenery is just a tea plantation view, but I thought the experience was very good, and I would stay here again if I had the chance. The hotel has many activities. We participated in making tea cakes and roasting tea in the evening. The local ladies working at the hotel are all very beautiful, enthusiastic, and lovely. The service is much better than the Chongqing Bailian. Sitting together roasting tea and chatting in the evening gave me a long-lost feeling of happiness.

As a 20-year-old hotel, it's very well maintained. Although it is indeed a bit old, the service and concept are still quite luxurious. The plants in the public areas are very well managed, and you can even walk directly into the tea garden.

In our opinion, this is the ideal hotel for visiting Jingmai Mountain and immersing yourself in the world of tea. Bolian Resort has the timeless charm of classic, understated luxury. The rooms are more traditional, while the common areas have a modern design and are very well integrated into the hotel's overall design. We especially appreciate its location on a tea plantation and its beautifully maintained tropical garden. We also want to highlight the afternoon tea tasting with gourmet pastries and the fun experience of making tea cakes, which we've saved at home to enjoy years from now and remember the exceptional days we spent at Bolian Resort and on Jingmai Mountain. We booked a private tour of the mountains through the hotel, which we absolutely loved. To reiterate the most important point: this is an exceptional hotel if you want an unforgettable experience on Jingmai Mountain. This experience wouldn't have been possible without the hotel staff and Echo, the manager, who did everything possible to make us feel at home. Many thanks to the Bolian Jingmai team.
