Absolutely fantastic! The location in the heart of Wengji Ancient Village is perfect. The room was huge with two 1.5-meter beds, and the young couple who own the place keep it impeccably clean. We arrived during the National Day holiday, and Xiaoqiang came to the parking lot to pick us up and help with our luggage. I definitely wouldn't recommend driving in yourself; the stone road is too steep and narrow. It's only about a ten-minute walk from the hotel to the parking lot anyway. The next morning, Xiaoqiang drove us to see the sea of clouds and explore the ancient tea forests. When we got back, he even cooked us delicious hot rice noodles. They also have ethnic clothing for rent with lots of props, so you can just ask the proprietress to do your hair and you're ready for some photos! Enjoying tea couldn't be easier either, as they have their own high-quality tea.

This place feels less like a hotel and more like a distant home, filled with the warmth and stories of its hosts. This trip to Jingmai Mountain (the same as Eddie Peng) was upgraded to an awesome in-depth tour experience because we stayed in this homestay! The owner of the B&B is a member of the Bulang ethnic group. It is located on Jingmai Mountain. As soon as you enter the door, you will be warmed by the cozy atmosphere and feel as comfortable as if you were back home. The boss and his wife were so enthusiastic that they not only helped me arrange my itinerary, but also personally took me to check in at Ayleng Mountain, explore the ancient village, and walk into their tea farm to experience the wonderful journey of tea from branches to teacups. The room design is amazing, overlooking the entire Jingmai Mountain, and you can see the dreamy scene of clouds and mist in the house. If you are lucky, you can encounter magnificent sea of ​​clouds and beautiful sunset, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery without leaving your home. The location of the B&B is perfect. It is very convenient to go to various attractions and saves a lot of time. The room is clean and comfortable, with complete facilities and attention to detail. During this trip, I not only appreciated the beauty of Jingmai Mountain, but also gained a deeper understanding of the local culture. I sincerely recommend everyone to come to Jingmai Mountain, and I also strongly recommend this homestay!

This guesthouse is located at the highest point of Wengji Ancient Village, offering absolutely stunning views of the sunset and sea of clouds. The room has a soaking tub, and the bedding is cozy and comfortable. In the evening, the owner gathered all the guests for a delightful tea ceremony around a fire, complete with singing. The chicken soup rice noodles for breakfast were delicious. As we were leaving, the owner surprised us with some of his home-grown black tea as a parting gift. The only thing is, due to the village's heritage protection, the road up the mountain is unpaved with a lot of loose gravel and steep slopes. For those driving themselves, I'd recommend renting an SUV with an engine displacement of 1.8L or higher for a more convenient ascent.

I was very satisfied with my overall stay. It's arguably the best hotel in the mountains. A large portion of fresh fruit was delivered daily, and drinks were replenished the next day after they ran out. In the evening, the hotel organized a ”fire pit” activity, sharing Bulang ethnic culture and traditional singing and playing, which was very interesting. Every morning, they also organized a brief walking tour to Wengji Ancient Village, which really showed the hotel's dedication. If I had to point out any shortcomings, it would probably be the somewhat frequent mosquitoes and yellowish water quality that are unavoidable in mountain hotels. However, these are simply due to the limitations of the natural environment and are unavoidable due to the hardware conditions.
