On the way to Jingmai Mountain, I took a night off in Huimin. The hotel is located in the alley opposite the bus station, very close and very convenient. The room is quite big and clean, but the sound insulation is too bad. There are check-in in the middle of the night, knocking on the door, pulling the luggage wheel, and the waiter knocking on the door, the guests shouting... I was noisy and didn’t sleep well all night, the sound insulation was really bad...

We decided to stay at Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) instead of the many BnBs on the mountain, having often found those overpriced and lacking in cleanliness. What a pleasant surprise this hotel turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made it feel like home. Many of the team members come from nearby tea-farming communities, and their passion for the land was palpable. They didn’t just serve tea—they shared stories of the heritage behind it, offering insights into the different tea varieties and local traditions. The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality linens. I loved waking up to the sound of roosters and the first rays of sunshine streaming through the window. If you’re like me and prefer to leave the window open at night, the fresh mountain air is the perfect way to start your day. For breakfast, don’t miss the fresh rice noodles and seafood congee—so flavorful! The fruit selection was also fresh and changed daily. A pleasant surprise was finding Cha Ling (a premium LVMH brand) as the hotel’s amenity. Made with tea extract, it added a luxurious touch to my stay. One of my favorite experiences was the traditional tea baking session, Wei Lu Kao Cha. We gathered around a carbon stove, sipped Pu’er tea, ate locally harvested fruit and nuts, and learned to bake our own tea leaves under the guidance of tea masters. The staff’s pride in their cultural heritage shone through in every interaction, making what could have been a simple stay feel like an immersive cultural journey. For anyone looking to experience the authentic soul of Yunnan’s tea mountains, Eterna Venue Hotel offers more than just a place to stay—it provides a meaningful connection to this beautiful region.

The hotel is quite new, staffs are so nice. With convenient location, supper market, restaurant, petrol station are nearby. If you are not going to stay in the village among Jingmai mountain, here is definitely the best hotel to stay, with reasonable price. There are another 2 hotels, the price are much higher than it. It non- Chinese ID card holder friendly, our original plan was to stay in the village, but seems the viIt took us just 1hr to drive towards the highest village to watch the sunrise and sunset. The only disadvantage for me is there is no self-service laundry

I drove to Jingmai Mountain alone from Banna. I didn't expect much from the homestay at this price. As a result, I slept for one night and wanted to stay for another night. 1.🐕 Pet Friendly: I took the puppy, and the proprietress even received the puppy, and asked me if I had brought dog food to the dog, super considerate. 💕 (The homestay has a puppy named ”Bang Bang” by the proprietress, super cute and docile, take me to the mountain in the morning to play, and show me its puppy born soon 🥰) 2. Comfortable environment: The proprietress is too tasteful, and the bedding is first-class comfortable! Smart toilet in the bathroom, super comfortable shower 🚿; don't worry about the cold on the mountain at night, the central air-conditioning of the proprietress's house 😎. And you must go to sleep on her pillow! I am a person who picks pillows. I slept for one night and asked the proprietress where to buy the pillows. 🤣～ 3. Good price: I went to Jingmai Mountain to see the homestay from home. The prices are so expensive, and it is cold, small and smelly. I feel that I can't find the second one at this price and environment. 🤪 If there is no clear call to contact the proprietress, I am also very patient. In fact, I want to say a lot more... I came alone, the boss also invited me to eat with her family, really touched... Although I am a tourist, I am sure I will come here again if I have the opportunity to come back next time! This stay at the Baishanju Hotel in Jingmai Mountain was a pleasant surprise! From the moment of arrival, it seemed to be entering the hidden picture. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain surrounded by tea mountains with a great view. My room has large floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony. Every morning, I see the magnificent sea of clouds and heal my body and mind instantly! The room design is cleverly integrated into the local elements, the log texture and modern facilities are just right, clean and comfortable, unique. The most memorable thing is the tranquility and cozy. Sitting on the balcony, using the exquisite tea set provided in the room, making a cup of authentic scenery of Mai Ancient Tree Shengpu, watching the sunset in the tea aroma, the sea of clouds and the tea mountain plated with gold, this is the real holiday! The staff is attentive and thoughtful, patiently introducing the surrounding tea gardens and play methods, and the boss personally shares the knowledge of the tea ceremony, full of human touch! The location of the hotel is also very convenient, it is a great starting point for exploring the ancient tea forest and the village. Whether it is chasing the fragrance of tea, shooting the sea of clouds, or simply emptying, Baishanju can provide the most ideal atmosphere. Next time I come to Jingmai, my choice has one: Baishanju!
