I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, being close to the old town, major tourist attractions, and a variety of restaurants. The highlight of the hotel is the Sky Lounge on the 26th floor, which offers stunning 360-degree views of the city. I highly recommend visiting at sunset and for night views – it’s incredible. The hotel also features a bar and a restaurant on the ground floor, and I appreciated the complimentary water bottles and the coffee and tea selection in the rooms. Hotel rooms are comfortable. Additionally, there's a small area near the reception where you can get free water, snacks, and fruits, which is a nice gesture not commonly found in other hotels. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they offer a free luggage room. The staff was really helpful throughout my stay. However, the room service was disappointing; the cleaner didn’t spend enough time cleaning the room or bathroom properly. On a positive note, we tried the spa, which is excellent. If you buy a coupon at the hotel reception, it costs €10, compared to €25 at the spa counter. The spa features a nice pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam rooms. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel and would recommend it.

Super stay! I booked at the last moment and accidentally found these wonderful apartments. There is absolutely everything you need. Very clean and cozy. Excellent location, not far from the old town, all public transport stops nearby. There is no reception, but all instructions are sent quickly, all questions are answered. Everything is very, very convenient. There is a children's room and a playground on the street, and even a trampoline! I had a great stay at Metropool Spa Hotel and would happily come back. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Breakfast was a real highlight — for €15 per person, it offered fresh fruits, good coffee, lactose-free milk, soy milk, and even salmon. Everything was fresh and well presented, making it a great start to the day. The spa facilities were also impressive. There’s a small swimming pool and four different types of saunas. My favorite was the Finnish sauna, where you can create löyly (a burst of steam) simply by pressing a button. While there’s no traditional cold plunge pool, there’s a cold water shower positioned right in front of the Finnish sauna, which worked perfectly for cooling down between sauna sessions. Overall, the combination of a comfortable stay, excellent breakfast, and relaxing spa made it a very enjoyable visit.

Amazing
GGuest UserTheir warm hospitality really makes you feel welcome and makes you want to stay again. I forgot my PJs and they emailed me straight away and even offered to ship them to me. Super grateful for their kindness! Will definitely stay again if I ever visit Tallinn in the future. Hotel location is great too very close to the Old Town and also near the market and the bus station to the harbour if you’re coming by ferry from Helsinki.
GGuest UserLocation of hotel fantastic, close to city centre. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with enough choice. Staff very helpful and service high quality. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel and would recommend this to anyone.
BBarbs AdventuresVery nice and spacious clean room. I liked how each person got a separate duvet which is perfect for family and friends as you both can keep warm. The bathroom was really clean and modern and I really liked the interior . A desk was provided with a chair too which was so helpful + a leather ledge where you could sot and chill before unwinding and going to bed that day. The self check in process was quite easy as there was many different ways you could check in !
MMeganNo kettle no desk, but the design was sleek and modern. They have a free flow coffee machine with hot water dispenser at the lobby, however a but of a pain to trek down for hot water for tea. No slippers provided (ostensibly for sustainability but the tiled bathroom was freezing). Overall very comfortable night’s sleep on the bed however, and the bench seat was the perfect height for me (limited mobility due to hip disability) i would have liked a shelf in the bath to put my own toiletries on and the water temperature fluctuated lots during a shower. The room heater wasn’t terribly warm, overall the room temperature stayed stubbornly at 23 degrees (definitely colder at some spots) and still chilly for tropical natives like me. It was a fairly close walk from the bus terminal (unfortunately the paths were iced over and no one had cleared the ice when I arrived. No cabs available so I had to hoof it over with luggage in tow. Without the spikes I had with me to pull onto my boots, I would have no doubt fallen a few times. The staff were overall pleasant and professional. There’s a map provided of the main attractions as well. If you do succeed at getting a cab, there is a driveway adjacent so the driver can pick you up from the hotel itself. Not too far a walk from the old town - about 20-30 minutes.
WwanderingmumSecond time booking here and it's a good improvement from our last stay. Some of the morning waitresses are now smiling and greeting us back. Some still don't but this is an improvement from my last review.
The check in was smooth but the kids didn't get a coloring book this time 😆 Maybe it was only for first-timers. We got cleaner and better rooms this time probably due to the renovation.
The waterpark is still great and clean. We definitely recommend this hotel to families with children and even to peoplw who enjoy swimming, lounging, and saunas.
The location is great because it's a hop away from a tram station. Definitely recommend!
PPetra KarimiesVery nice hotel and excellent location with parking places. Only minus was that it's not for free (10€/night). Not possible to adjust the room temperature.
NnidriksVilla Kadriorg is a budget friendly hostel/hotel that is on a direct bus route to the old town. If not for major upgrade works to the tram network then I believe it would also be on the tram line.
I found my room comfy enough, if a little warm. It was a very warm few days in Tallinn though. Sadly, my room was right above a bar playing music until past 10pm. If you needed an early night to catch transport then that might be a problem.
There's free WiFi and a small shared kitchen. The shared showers were a little grubby, but I suspect that is to be expected. There was also a bit of noise from some of the younger guests after 10.
Sounds like I had a miserable stay but that is not so. Just be aware that the price will attract youngsters.
I'd say that Villa Kadriorg is good value for money and a fine place to rest a weary head after a long day walking around beautiful Tallinn.
GGuest UserThe facilities were well cleaned. I did not have any issue. Also using provided linen, privacy of small bed is secured. Also the lamp is equipped with USB socket. No trouble at all. Only thing you should be aware is no locker is available. If you have luggage you can store it in the backyard securely.
GGuest UserThis hotel exceeded my expectations. While it’s small and budget-friendly, it’s packed with character and charm. Great location just a few minutes from the bus station and a short stroll to everything in Tallinn’s Old Town.
Staying here felt like stepping into a medieval castle. What it lacks in luxury, it makes up for in atmosphere and history. The winding staircases, uneven floors, richly patterned carpets add to its quirky appeal. There’s a real beauty in its imperfections.
The rooms are very small and basic, but they were spotless and suited our needs. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was squeaky clean, and we received fresh towels daily, which was more than I expected at this price point.
Overall, it was more than just a place to sleep, it was a memorable experience that made us feel like we’d stepped back in time.
