Stayed for Two days -Feb15-17th and paid $664 for a outdated “sick room”. I call it a sick room because anybody who stays where there’s black mold will be SICK!! There were patches of black mold growing on the walls of this old property. My son and I stayed in room 216. I told housekeeping who ( as the overnight auditor claimed) never bothered to mention it to anyone else. The same auditor said that a hockey tournament was the reason why I was kept in that molded room. She said that she smelled the mold immediately when the door opened. But That there were no other rooms available to ME. I questioned that. The mold increased in size and shape. And after I told her that I took pictures of the hole in the ceiling ( who knows why) and the black tape hanging down and mold everywhere ( that I’ve I tried to upload video footage of)…. They conveniently move me, and said that my bill would be adjusted. I experienced headaches and nausea during my stay. If you know anything about mold, you know that it travels in old infrastructure, where there’s wetness. You know that the spores can be deadly because it lives in the body and is a neurotoxin!! It actually affects every part of the body. This entire property needs remediation STOP PUTTING MONEY BEFORE PEOPLES LIVES! Oh, They never discounted my bill at all for the inconvenience and sickness that i experience while on their property. When asked Ashley said they’ll give me some bonus points that I never received! But I did receive a random “ just checking your temperature” call from a Thomas Dubois from Choice Properties. Who apologized and said that he’ll follow up on my grievance. I call ”BS” on Thomas Dubois and Choice Hotels!!! We’ll see…meanwhile AVOID!! P.S. Trying to upload videos, and can’t! Also… there are old rooms and updated ones. They charge same price for old rooms as the new rooms.

Jjessicav1228azAt first look this hotel seems great and it's not bad there were just a few things that were unpleasant. It is in a quiet neighborhood, kind of tucked back. When we first pulled in, there was another guest pulling in behind us and he sped past us at least 45 mph, jumping the speed bumps, laughing hanging out of his window. I go into the office to check in there's no one at the desk but I hear a Ja Rule song blasting from the back so I call out ”hello” a few times. Then a young man comes to the front after 5 or so minutes, I check in, and he explains all of the rules to me. We pull to a spot closer to our room, which is on the backside of the building. There isn't parking on the backside of the building so you can't park next to your room if it's on that side. We have to park in the front and walk around, unfortunately the only walkway to get there was through the smoking area. I don't smoke, neither does my husband and we had our children with us. There were some shady looking men always hanging out in the smoking area so we constantly had to walk past them. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. AC worked great and the shower was nice and hot. We had the king bed with sleeper sofa, there were no sheets, blankets or pillows for the sleeper sofa. So I went to the office to get sheets and pillows for it, there was a sign on the counter that said 'back in a few minutes'. I saw the front desk clerk through the window in the door, he was about 20 feet away talking to a man. He saw me, I waved even so he would know I am waiting on him, he continued to stand there and talk. I waited almost 15 minutes and I looked down the way again like maybe he's on his way back now, nope he picked up a bag of laundry and started walking further down the sidewalk. I was fed up waiting so I gave up, went back to my room and split up my sheets and pillows for the kids to use. One real complaint is when I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, I turned on the light and TWO ROACHES!! I killed them, it was disgusting. I would have went to the office and complained but who knows if that guy would even be in there and how long I would have to wait. Not sure if we would stay here again, like it wasn't bad, we made due. The reason we were even staying here is because our youngest son is in the NICU in the hospital right down the street and it was close and convenient to the hospital to be able to visit him.

GGuest UserMEDICAL PROCEDURE BOOKING: I booked a room for myself and my daughter because I was having a procedure done on my spine and I had to stay close to the Dr to 24 hours after. I booked this particular hotel because it had free breakfast and an outdoor pool, something my daughter could.enjoy while I slept off the anesthesia. Upon arrival, we were told we would be charged $200 refundable deposit, which was not communicated to me upon booking the room, the pool was closed which was not disclosed to me a the time of booking and breakfast was not being served. I was extremely upset to find out that all the reasons I booked this specific hotel was for the amenities offered. The room was clean and the mattress was the best mattress I've ever slept on in my 43 years.

Oh boy, where to start? I booked this ”motel” on ******* a few months before my husband and I were due to travel to Mesa, AZ for the Atomic Monster Weekend Convention (lol) for my husband's birthday. Didn't want to spend an arm and a leg so we booked a motel, which served us decently in the past when we traveled to Idaho and around Nevada but holy hell was this place on another level. We roll up on the day of check-in well within the window of proper check-in time (3:00pm - 10:00pm was the check in window; we arrived around 4:00pm) after driving 5 hours to get there and the first thing we see is a ”lady” with no pants on and (hopefully) flesh colored underwear, standing outside of her room, leaning up against the door jam with the door hanging open smoking a cigarette. Always a stellar sign. Any who, we walk up to the lobby door and pull on the door handle. It's locked. Huh? We've never stayed at a place with a locked lobby. Weird; must mean there's a lot of crime in the area. Another great sign. We notice there's a doorbell so we ring it. It takes about a minute or two for some guy to come up to the window next to the front door al la gas station style and demand we tell him why we're there. What do we look like, cops? Is this a motel? What gives? How many red flags is that? I tell him that we have a reservation via Expedia.com for two nights and are there to check in. He demands to see our I.D.'s. We push them through the opening in the window and he finally lets us in the lobby. Upon entering, he confirms our last names and informs us that our booking was cancelled. I tell him I didn't cancel it and he states that his manager cancelled the booking. I asked him why. Turns out, these clowns tried to charge my card before I even showed up, which was in direct violation of Expedia's policies. I found out later, after I had a chance to check my email after this whole debacle that they had tried to charge my card around noon and cancelled the booking at 1:37pm. It stated in my confirmation email that the money would be due at the property and that my card wouldn't be charged until I arrived, which is how we've always done it with no issues. Whatever, upon him telling me it was declined, I assumed my bank declined it because we live in Nevada and this place was in Arizona and we don't travel often so they probably flagged it as suspicious (I didn't check my email until I got back out to the car), and informed him as such, but I was more than happy to pay now that I was standing in front of him, like the confirmation email had originally stated. I even informed him that I had cash to pay for the entire stay if he wasn't comfortable with a card, but either way would work for us. He told me ”too bad” so sad, I can't do anything for you because the manager had cancelled it because our card was declined. I asked him why he didn't try to call us when they tried to run our card (illegally by the way) to discuss the matter. He told us it was our re
