I perceive the key of this hotel’s services from the front desk to bellhop, housekeeping and security staff is sincerity. Our eye contact and a smile with the hotel staff goes a very long way each time when strolling through the lobby, rooftop lounges and leisure amenities of The RIYAZ Lavanya Langkawi. Thank you so much to their housekeeping staff, Mr. Ali’s hard work for taking such good care of my room, our room looks wonderful every day during our 5D4N (1-5 Feb) stays, is perfect. A nod and a "Good day, thank you" as we pass by the Gurkhas Security officers who are renowned for their incredible toughness, and acknowledges their presence and roles each time when we stepped out of the lobby and the main entrance. It is often seen as a premium, elite security measure, offering peace of mind to us, an elderly couple. We were so impressed with the service and cleanliness that we will absolutely be returning customers.

The RIYAZ is a beautiful hotel and the pool is extremely pleasant with gorgeous views, but be careful with the cocktails as they are extremely strong 🤣. If you book a sea view room, you will also be able to see a beautiful sunset each night. We enjoyed our stay at the Riyaz and would definitely recommend it.

Very good service and the hotel is quite modern. One service that they offer is a golf cart / buggy ride to the beach which is semi private with umbrellas. Breakfast was great! The junior suite was spacious and had a nice view.

First of all the location of the hotel it self is not on the beach, so if you want to go to beach you have to go by buggy(golf car), the hotel is clean the room is clean, I asked for a sea view junior suite, they put me on room 626,the restaurant exhuast fan is pointing to the room balacony and you can smell the cocking in the early morning, the see view is not good at all because of the floor level is low as well as there is a small hell and buildings blocking part of the view, so avoid floor 6&7 if you want a good see view and none smell room in the morning 🙂. The breakfast is good but not alot of variations like other hotels i stayed in before this, for the omelet they cook only with one oil, when asked for omelet cooked with olive oil they said no olive oil despite it exist on the salad corne. On the last day I brought butter with me and asked them to cook with it and they accepted. Overall personaly if you ask me am I satisfied? I will say no.

We had a 4-night stay at this hotel and I honestly can't tell that it was a vacation of my dream. What was good: 1. Location. The hotel is just 20 min walk from the night market and 10-15 min walk from duty free shops. Also, so many nice restaurants and cafes nearby. 2. Beach. Only 3 minutes walk from the main door. Smooth sandy entry to the water, the hotels' own "sunbeds" and fresh towels. I especially would like to thank the watersports team (they are also beach staff) for the exceptional treatment. 3. Breakfast. An extremely wide choice of western and asian food. No one will leave the breakfast hungry. 4. SPA. Brilliant, just perfect! Unfortunately, I don't remember the therapist's name but trust me, she is a truly magician. 5. The whole hotel territory seems new and cool. Main entrance was nicely decorated for Chinese New Year. Unfortunately, there are no positive moments anymore. 1. Our room (#926, Junior Suite) was awfully dirty! I attach photos of everything we could notice, but we haven't explored all the possible dirty areas. We booked the room with a sea view but it was completely ruined with dirty windows (they were dirty from the outside). Moreover, our sofa, bedsheets, towels and even curtains were covered with disgusting yellow / brown stains as well. I don't even want to imagine WHAT could leave stains like that. Floor was stained with some brownish drops which I guess, could be blood. The housekeeping staff tried to remove them but couldn't. 2. The front office staff was slow and didn't give any f of what is going on all the time. I lost my shorts (it is my fault, the shorts were blown out with the wind from the balcony) but no one would like to help me for real except the concierge and front office supervisor who tried their best to find my shorts. Seems like that the front office staff don't even talk to each other as all of them always had completely different information. Also, we had the slowest check-out ever. We were short on time as we had to head to the airport, however the staff acted like we have all the time of the world. 3. The pool bar's food was not good at all plus the bar's staff was just as front office's. Slow and unresponsive. 4. There was only one person who does the cleaning per floor which is a wild fact for me. Cleaning was extremely slow and low-qualified just because of this. Plus, we spent our last two days with only one towel per person. Probably we didn't deserve the second one or something. Our room also had a water boiling system, but NO ONE told us about it while check-in. I had to take a barely warm shower at first. However, I would like to thank security and doormen service staff who were always so nice to us and Japanese restaurant staff and manager who actively helped to find my gone-with-the-wind shorts. I would not recommend this hotel to stay at before the management would train the front office, bar and housekeeping staff well and deep clean the rooms. The only thing I can tell was 100% great is SPA. So, I guess, you can make an appointment as an outside guest

My family and I really enjoyed our stay, the views were beautiful from our sea view junior suite room. Shout out to the friendly staff that made our stay extra special like Shahrol and the Indian security guard with the cowboy hat whose name I did manage to catch. Thank you. Location was great near to Pantai cenang and cenang mall which was bustling with people hence I do love the beach which was a buggy ride away from the hotel and they also provide water activities at a reasonable price! Other than that, our only small hiccup would be the room. Though it was generally clean but there were stains the sofa, bench cushion, bed sheets and curtains. When we requested to get the room cleaned again due to it being sandy from the beach, they were not able to comply to the request.

The rooftop pool with sunset views was amazing, and the breakfast was rich and delicious. The hotel faces the sea but isn't right on the beach, and it's also across from a construction site. I give full marks for cleanliness and service.

The room was spacious and comfortable and we could enjoy a nice view of the mountain. We like the shower facility as water pressure was good, and there is a bathtub too. There is a playground for kids below the hotel. To access the beach, the hotel provides buggy service to bring us to and fro there. The hotel was nearby several F&Bs which served good food and variety of cuisines. There is a minimart about a short walk away from hotel too. Service staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a pleasant stay! :)

🌊 Stunning Sea View & Perfect Stay at The Riyaz Lavanya Langkawi 🌅 I had an amazing stay at The Riyaz Lavanya Langkawi! The sea view room was absolutely breathtaking — from the balcony, I could see the entire Pantai Cenang coastline, especially during sunrise and sunset. The view alone made the trip unforgettable! The room was spacious, modern, and very clean, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The location is perfect — close to the beach, shops, and great local restaurants, yet still peaceful and relaxing. I highly recommend booking the sea view room — it’s definitely worth it for the stunning panoramic view of Pantai Cenang. I’ll surely come back again for another relaxing getaway! 🌴✨

Love the ambience and location of the hotel. It’s near to the beach and easy access to many nearby places like restaurant and shops.

Great location and service. The view from the hotel is very good. You can choose from mountain or sea view depend on which view you prefer. The location near the sea and walking distance to the walking street.
