The hotel. A relaxed, lush atmosphere and you don’t need to be right in the midst of nightlife or shopping, The Bayou Hotel Langkawi is a very good choice

Hotel staff service was excellent. Family suite spacious and well designed. Decent breakfast spread and lunch at the bar was delicious.
Lobby gives a warm and somewhat nostalgic vibe reminiscent of the 80s

Pro:
-service particularly pool attendant and breakfast team lead
-who assisted me they they noticed my arm in sling , much appreciated
Cons:
- room was v small. I thought maybe an an allowance would be made for to my injury but they insisted I had to pay for an upgrade ..I guess business is business?
- there are minimal tv channels (only apps) so no mainstream ones like bbc/cnn or even Malaysian astro sports
- pool is very clean however not open till 8am or would be great if they could clean and open an hour earlier and maybe little later in evenings as the heat in LGK requires a cool off!!

Very comfortable hotel, very clean toilet too. The receptionist welcomed us with warm smile and good attitude. He explained about the services: free drinks per voucher, free snacks in hotel, can borrow their towel for swimming pool and to the beach. The location is very near to Cenang beach. I really loved this hotel and will come back again! Netflix, Prime Video, You Tube are available including screen sharing from phone! We enjoyed very much in the hotel!

Our stay was most enjoyable - a very pleasant hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Well designed hotel with few pretentions, offering comfort and good service. Hotel room - Simple, spacious with good modern facilities.
Good, well-designed Breakfast area - Breakfast facilities are very good, with good selection of well prepared food (including an egg station), with thoughtful variations from day to day. The manager in charge of breakfast is attentive, efficient and friendly.
Well-designed Bar and pool area, which provides live entertainment (including movie nights with free popcorn).
Although on a busy road, it was quiet. Hotel has an outlook (to the rear) from the swimming pool area across to the quiet fields and lush green hills (we enjoyed the sighting of cows and birds in the background).
Special mention of Mr Mokthar at Front Desk - he is personable, experienced, helpful and made us feel welcome the moment we stepped in. He is a valuable asset to Bayou hotel.

Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are all friendly and always willing to assist. The rooms are cosy and having Netflix was a bonus for my son. Welcome snacks & free drinks are offered on arrival, just overall a great hotel. Beautiful pool and the movie night was such a surprise! Walking distance to the beach and all the late night shops. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable ❤️
