The Bayou Hotel Langkawi

This hotel is super cool, I really liked it. The room was clean, with a smart TV, and the lobby was very stylish. There's free popcorn. The pool area is also great, with a beautiful view of the jungle. The food is delicious, and the bar has a rich selection of drinks. My only minor complaint was the lack of towels – only a bath towel and a foot towel were provided. I would have liked towels for my face and hands as well. The main downside was the walk to the beach… I never did find the shortcut that people mentioned in reviews, so I always took the long way around. It felt quite spooky walking there because Langkawi gets very dark, and on one side there's an empty, fenced-off lot, and on the other, a hotel and construction site. Overall, it felt pretty safe, considering I walked alone at different times of the day and nothing happened. But the hotel itself is just superb, I'm thrilled!

An unusual hotel with a special vibe. You feel cared for from the very first minute. Such a warm welcome, with very friendly and happy staff. By the pool, there's a game area where you can play air hockey, darts, table football, and many other games, which gives you the feeling of being at a pool party. At 4 PM, guests are treated to ice cream. There's juice for kids and alcoholic options for adults. Also, each guest receives a drink voucher upon check-in. There's an area where you can watch a football match, and there's cold water available in coolers on every floor. Nearby, there are very nice cafes with local cuisine. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. I highly recommend it. I had a very pleasant and kind experience. I didn't want to leave.

A very pleasant stay. The staff are highly professional, and the hotel's view is excellent. The location is convenient to everything. Their pool is great, and the service is wonderful. The breakfast mostly has an Asian flair, but there's a chef who prepares eggs to your liking, and a coffee machine is also available. There's also a kids' play room.

The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and the location was excellent for getting around. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very clean and tidy. The facilities were comprehensive, and the soundproofing was effective, ensuring a high-quality sleep. This is a highly recommended hotel!

A truly cozy, home-away-from-home hotel! The location is superb, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and a night market nearby! There's also convenient parking for your car! The hotel staff are incredibly sweet, helpful, beautiful, smiley, and pleasant!!! A huge thank you to them for a wonderful stay!!! They know all the guests and their preferences!!! For breakfast, they even showed live broadcasts of FIFA 2026, which added a special touch to the mornings!!! The breakfasts are diverse (and I have something to compare it to, as we stayed in a 5-star hotel on Langkawi where the breakfasts were much worse than in this modest hotel). Hot waffles and pastries, delicious coffee, plenty of meat, vegetables, and fruits. The room is small but convenient and cozy! It has everything you need and even more – free snacks and chips :)) Extremely convenient location! Conclusion: I highly recommend it, because if I ever return to the island, it will only be to this hotel.

Excellent value for money! 👍👍👍 It's only 5 MYR by taxi to Cenang Beach. On arrival, we received a complimentary welcome drink 🍹 at the poolside bar. This 3-star hotel provides 4-star service. Highly recommend! 👍👍👍

The room was clean and well-equipped with slippers, toothbrushes, a razor, hairdryer, iron, and welcome snacks. Upon check-in, we received a coupon for a drink at the bar. The breakfast was excellent. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach. Duty-free shops, cafes, restaurants, and the central square are all nearby, about a 10-15 minute walk.
