I really enjoyed staying here. I had an air-con room which really helped with the heat. It's just a short walk to the beach and main street/restaurants everywhere. The manager is awesome very helpful and friendly. I went on a couple of tours which I highly recommend

Location is not bad , near to beach and markets but .. water pressure in washroom is extremely low can’t even take comfortable shower. The staff is friendly but hotel needs a lot of improvement. Will not stay in future. Can’t even charge your phone due to very strange settings of plugs. You have to buy special plugs.

I really like the a**osphere here. The room is spacious, clean, the facilities provided are also good. The bathroom is spacious, but the water is a little small. To overall ok worth it and very good.

The place is exelent as a backpackers stay cheap and a walking distance from the beach and restaurants of all choices There is a bar in the lodge were they serve good drinks and put lovely music good ambience. I advice you to book the air conditioning room or els you are in for a very hot night sleep.The owner and staff are very helpful

My go to place to stay in Langkawi, very quiet and peaceful yet only a few minutes walk from the beach. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Just fabulous. Yes it's budget, but everything from location, super hospitable staff and relaxing atmosphere is fabulous. Adi drove us to a restaurant and the airport. Great breakfast spots a few doors down, a short walk to beach and all the shops and tourist agents. This has to be the best budget place around. Couple of tips- ask for a room away from the bar and Frdays there is a night market down the road with yummy food.

We came here through recommendation. Great food, at a cheap price. Beers on tap and pool table available. Brilliant service, really friendly guys, suggested a meal on the menu which I really enjoyed. Over all generally a really nice place off the busy main road. Music wasn’t our taste but happily go back

RL Lodge as it is called nowadays is a long standing favourite of backpackers who stay near Pantai Cenang. Even the dorm offers privacy comparable to a small single room due to walls between beds. RL is not new but still very well managed by Ann & Eddie. It was fully booked on the day I stayed there (despite being the rainy season). I decided to afford myself a large room with attached bathroom and terrace with hammock which was excellent value for money. Ann took me on her bike to a noname Malay restaurant which offers excellent and authentic food for locals and therefore very little money. Standard tours can be booked right there.

Comfortable, quiet and peaceful though only a five minute walk from the beach. Nice bar. Places to eat nearby.

Car parking is just in front of property and very convenient. The staffs are friendly. Condition of room and surrounding is neat and clean.

I stayed from December 29, 2023 to January 3. I searched for a room with a kitchen, which is essential, but when I entered the room, there was no kitchen. I was disappointed. I complained that there was no kitchen I wanted and that it was different from the photo, but they insisted that it was in the house. I asked if there was a room with a kitchen and after negotiating, I was told that it was similar for an additional fee, so I exchanged rooms. It's not very clean, but it has a gas kitchen and is spacious in the living room and bedroom. I think I'll do my end-of-year cleaning here, as the window frames are dirty and there was a hole in the towel blanket. This is unthinkable in Japan. However, the staff's service and smiles, the location is good because it is close to Cenang Beach and the shops, and I feel like I want to go again.
