Temple Tree Resort

If you are looking for authentic old skool architecture then temple tree resort is deff the place to go. Its got modern amenities while being authentic with the structure. If you are allegic to feline dander or just arent the friendliest with cats, stay away as theres a few residents. One thing to consider is the akwardness of the toilet bowl positioning for penang house 1. I am on the larger side and this posed abit of an issue and required manuevering acts to say the least. Choose a different house but dont let this stop you. The breakfast had a good choice and lovely fresh baked pastries i appreciated!

- Good environment and air quality - good sunlight - good experience and nice workers attitude - garden and nature are well tended - nice breakfast served (variety could be implemented on a daily basis) Improvements: - Cleanliness and pest control can be improved. - The swimming pool feels a little not cleaned thoroughly. - Hair dryer is not functioning well.

Temple tree is an experience. It is a collection of older, colonial era homes that have been renovated. It isn’t your normal stay. It’s a little out of the way but the rooms are comfortable and the living areas are rather communal. The bar is generous and affordable and the morning breakfast was excellent. It is located in a rather out of the way place and is rather expensive, but it is an experience in an age of repeatable hotel stays that I know I’ll remember.

Excellent venue and host

The service is good and the staffs are very friendly. We were a group of 6 and a 2 yo toddler. We love the place and the vibes. Just the cleanliness of the room can be improved. When we checked out I’ve seen the staff cleaned our rooms for next guest. But they just changed the bedsheet and refill all the necessaries but thorough cleaning should be done before for example all the cabinets and flooring. Maybe it’s hard as well cause the houses are made of wood and it’s harder to clean. So you have to wear hotel slippers in the room and it’s fine. Just that we have a toddler and they just tend to run around barefoot. Overall everything is great. Would recommend couples, solo travellers and families group but without kids would be ideal.

Best place to stay for relaxing vacation. But need to improve on cleanliness especially on toilet tiles.

The best hotel ever. The concept is very cool. Loving the vibe. Very clean and cozy despite the kampung style. The breakfast is also delicious!
