Would not stay there again. Service staff terrible. Bell hop was good and friendly. Front desk was hopeless

Stayed at Resorts World Langkawi for 4 nights. First, the good part — the view is really nice. The sea view from the balcony is beautiful and relaxing. The hotel area is also quiet. But the room was disappointing. The room felt old and not well maintained. There was rust in the bathroom, stains on the walls and ceiling, and some damaged surfaces. It did not feel clean and fresh. This was a Premier room, which is supposed to be one of the better options in the hotel. Because of this, it is hard not to wonder what the standard or budget rooms are like. One more problem — one of the beds caused constant itching. We had to move to the second bed. Luckily, there were two beds in the room. Soundproofing is poor because of connecting doors between rooms. You can hear your neighbors very clearly. In my case, the neighbors were from India and were quite loud, arguing often — even late at night and early in the morning. After a few days, it felt like I could almost understand their language just from hearing it so much. The hotel has many international guests, and I noticed a large number of visitors from India. It feels more like a busy family hotel than a quiet place. The location is also not very convenient. The hotel is far from the main town, so you need to use taxis. Taxis are not expensive, but you cannot just walk out to restaurants or shops. You will spend most of your time at the hotel, where food and drinks are more expensive than in town. Overall, the hotel feels old and not well taken care of. It may be okay if you only need a place to sleep with a nice view. But if you care about comfort and cleanliness, this is not a good choice. To sum up: Nice view, but poor room condition and not a convenient location. I would not stay here again.

The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the infinity pool, which overlooked the ocean and created a breathtaking atmosphere, especially during sunset. I spent hours there just relaxing and enjoying the scenic beauty. The resort also had a variety of dining options, and the food was delicious, offering both local Malaysian flavors and international cuisine. Every meal felt special, with fresh ingredients and great presentation. Another thing I appreciated was the peaceful environment of the resort. It was not overly crowded, which allowed me to enjoy quiet moments and truly unwind. The location was also convenient for visiting nearby attractions, making it easy to explore the island while still having a calm place to return to. Overall, my stay at Resorts World Langkawi was an unforgettable experience filled with comfort, relaxation, and beautiful memories. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and enjoyable getaway.

The hotel itself is well located and has a certain charm. The furniture is quite old, but in a way it adds character to the place. The staff we interacted with were generally kind and polite. However, we had a very upsetting experience with the Ramadan buffet restaurant. We arrived at the hotel around 6:00 PM after a long day of travel with two flights (Phuket to Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi). My mother had been fasting all day for Ramadan and had not eaten or drunk anything. When we saw that the restaurant was preparing the Ramadan buffet, my mother sat down hoping to break her fast there. Unfortunately we were refused and told that reservations had to be made one day in advance. This was very surprising for us, as we had just arrived in the country and could not possibly have reserved the day before. We were directed to another nearby restaurant, but after waiting more than one hour we still had not received any food. During that time my mother — who had been fasting all day — still had nothing to eat, and my two-year-old child was crying because he was hungry. In the end, my mother was only able to eat about two hours after the time of breaking the fast. Aside from this very difficult experience, the hotel itself is pleasant and the staff are friendly. However, I hope the management will consider being more flexible and understanding in situations like this, especially for guests observing Ramadan and families traveling with young children.

I had a very pleasant stay at Resort World Langkawi. The location is slightly away from the main tourist attractions, which makes it perfect for travellers who prefer a quieter and more relaxing environment. The receptionists and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful, and they were always willing to answer any questions I had during my stay. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel also provides free parking, which was very convenient since I had rented a car to explore the island. In terms of accessibility, the hotel is about 20 minutes from Langkawi International Airport and roughly a 10-minute drive to Pantai Cenang, making it easy to reach popular spots while still enjoying a peaceful stay. One thing to note is that there is only a single mini mart within the hotel and the prices are a bit on the higher side. On my first morning, I ordered breakfast through Grab instead, which was still convenient since delivery services can reach the hotel easily. The room floor had some visible stubborn stains and the hotel does not provide room slippers, so you may want to consider bringing your own if you prefer not to walk barefoot in the room. Overall, it’s still a good option for travellers looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in Langkawi, especially if you plan to drive around the island.
