Langzhong Confucian Courtyard

The courtyard is beautiful, and it was even more stunning when it rained during my visit. The service was warm and attentive, really excellent. The room itself was pretty good, just a bit damp. I'd suggest turning on the air conditioning to dehumidify before guests check in. There were quite a few mosquitoes in the courtyard. Breakfast was served individually, and it looked decent. However, I'd recommend adding more local breakfast options, perhaps something like beef noodles.

The service was incredibly welcoming, and the location is fantastic (right in the heart of the old town), offering a peaceful escape despite being central. Plus, there were lots of lively cats and dogs around!

Overall, a fantastic experience! The courtyard itself is a non-material cultural heritage site, offering a truly unique feel. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic, friendly, and proactive – they truly deserve praise for that! My child didn't even want to leave. The only minor drawback is that, due to the preservation of many old building materials, some mosquitoes and dust are unavoidable. However, if you're looking to experience this kind of historic architecture, these are minor issues.

This was my first time visiting Kong Family Courtyard, and I was absolutely delighted with it. I love this kind of quaint and elegant small courtyard – it's perfect for relaxation. We stayed in a family room; it wasn't huge, but the kids absolutely adored the upstairs area. The room was clean and well-maintained. A special shout-out to the butler service, which was incredibly warm, lively, and thoughtful, making us feel very comfortable. Finally, thank you for the New Year's gift, we really loved it! I hope to have the chance to stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!

I've been wanting to visit Langzhong Ancient City for a long time, and strolling through it was incredibly pleasant. It felt less commercial than the ancient towns in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and instead offered more of the relaxed and leisurely charm of Sichuan. The hotel, a beautifully renovated old courtyard house, has a very elegant atmosphere. The owner was exceptionally helpful, warm, and attentive. The riverside restaurant they recommended was also excellent, where delicious food and stunning views of the Jialing River went hand in hand!

The room has a great ambiance, very antique and charming, but the facilities are not as modern as in a contemporary hotel. The service was very enthusiastic though, and it's quite an experience to stay in a heritage building.
