Grupotel Cinco Plazas

I gave this a 3 out of 5 because the staff are nice,and it is in a good location. But the towels in the room are threadbare some have holes in them The worst part is when in a nice hot place like Lanzarote through the day,The night time is so different quite cold. So when the rooms are unheated only air con for cool air, they have set the air conditioner so as you cannot use it to warm the room up and this is no good the only way to get warm is in bed Will not be back

Not a bad hotel place was clean and staff was friendly and location was good the only thing was the bed wars as per usual with family hotels

From my understanding the hotel is made up of multiple small hotels that merged together. As a result there are three or four distinct areas, and 2 pools in different places, which was nice. You can choose which pool you want to go in and which is in a quieter area. There is also a splash pad. I recall enjoying the breakfast buffet although I visited in 2021 so I cannot remember the details of what the food was like. Our room was very reasonable, our balcony overlooking the pool but also very secluded. The hotel didn't have many facilities, I don't think there was any evening entertainment, but the area was lovely. We got a hire car as usual and were able to visit attractions the island has to offer, and we also went jet-skiing from the marina nearby. It is just a short walk down the hill to the seafront where there are a plethora of restaurants, and a lovely beach.

Stayed in PDC many many times but first time staying here.Lovely apartments cleaned every other day.Plenty for the kids to do with splash pools and smaller kiddies pool....a large heated pool was great. Reception staff were brilliant particularly the lady who booked us in and checked us out ....look no further 😎👍

We only stayed for 2 nights for my husband’s 50th, but we had a great time. Reception staff friendly & attentive. Our apartment was huge & we got the sea view & upper floor as requested. Great location for the main *****. We would definitely stay again if we returned to Lanzarote.

Second time staying at these apartments. We had a quiet room 3128 with a no exit pass us which great. Apartments are spacious and equipped with enough cooking facilities for rustle up light lunches. Good WiFi and English channels on TV, handy when the temperature dropped in the evenings. Staff were friendly and complex kept clean. The location is the seller for us as well because only a short walk to the front. Found the bed topper mattress difficult as it always ended up hanging over the edge of the bed no matter how many times one made the bed. Will return again as good value for money

Fantastic appmts & well serviced. We had a massive two bedroom appartment...spotlessly clean & lovely furnishings.The only complaint I have is where we were....it didn't get any sun & was extremely windy!!( the appmt was opposite the"spash pool" which had been filled in with cement

Not much to say about this one. I had a single room apartment which was perfectly adequate for the week we stayed here. It was clean and comfortable and had all the facilities we needed for a pleasant stay. The rooms include: - 2 ring electric hob Microwave Kettle Toaster Cooking utensils Pots & pans Plates Glasses TV with HDMI sockets for streaming devices. Each room has its own WIFI access point, and the download speed was consistently above 18Mb. Hairdryer in the bathroom Safe charged at 15 Euros per week with additional 5 Euro deposit. There is no iron or ironing board in the room although I believe there are some facilities on site. We never struggled to find sunbeds and an umbrella by the pool and stayed by the quieter pool i.e. not the one by the Bar. Negatives: - Don’t bother calling reception for anything other than emergencies they promise everything and deliver nothing i.e. We ran out of toilet roles. Despite 4 calls over 24 hours and promises of immediate delivery, nothing ever materialised. Easier just to go out, find a cleaning trolly and take them. The front door to the apartment was difficult to close resulting in the cleaner leaving our room open on two separate occasions. Reception promised to fix it but never did. Everything considered this place was great for a relatively cheap week or two in the sun and if we were to return to Puerto Del Carmen although unlikely (prefer Costa Teguise) we would stay here again for an end of year break.

The internet in the rooms and public areas work well. I spent a week working from Cinco Plazas. Had no problems. Breakfast is worth the money. Friendly service and clean place. Would stay again. Great ac and location. A lot of good restaurants near by.
