Although it's a Holiday Inn Express, the rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The parking facility is also very convenient, and breakfast offers a wide selection. However, the young man at the front desk handling my check-in was clearly unfamiliar with the process and took a very long time. The other female staff members, on the other hand, were highly professional.

I specifically chose this hotel to visit the Gansu Provincial Museum. It's very close to the highway exit. The location is right across from the museum, just a short walk across the road. It has its own parking lot, which is great if you're driving. You don't need to move your car to visit the museum, and you can just come back and drive off afterward, which is very convenient. Plus, parking at the museum itself is difficult. Next to the hotel is Lanzhou Center shopping mall, with lots of food options, also very convenient. The hotel itself is decent and serves its purpose well for a one-night stop during a road trip.

Lanzhou was the last stop on our Qinghai-Gansu Loop trip. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. The staff assigned us a room facing away from the street and even gave us an extra complimentary breakfast. The room was comfortable and spacious, with elegant yet practical decor. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and both the Lanzhou ramen and fried noodles were delicious. Before we left, the front desk even gave us a camel-shaped charm. Holiday Inn has always been my top choice for accommodation when traveling. However, this time the price I booked on Ctrip was actually more expensive than the hotel's walk-in rate, which I don't understand – Ctrip seems a bit dishonest.

Although the hotel is directly opposite the Gansu Provincial Museum across the road, you can't cross directly. You'll need to walk around to get to the museum, so factor in extra time. If you find that inconvenient, taking a taxi would be a more hassle-free option.

The room was clean and tidy. Downstairs, it's right next to Lanzhou Center, and across the street are the Gansu Museum and a night market, which is super convenient when traveling with seniors and kids! The cleaning lady was also very warm and friendly. Overall, the experience was excellent! 👍
