The hotel's proximity to Lanzhou Center shopping mall made dining and shopping very convenient. Gansu Provincial Museum was just across the street, making it easy to visit. The subway station was only a few minutes' walk away, which was great for getting around. The hotel parking entrance is right next to the Lanzhou Center parking entrance. If you're driving, I recommend asking the hotel front desk for directions beforehand. Hotel parking is free for 24 hours after entry. If you're planning to visit attractions like the Yellow River Mother Sculpture, Yellow River Cableway, Baita Mountain, and the First Bridge over the Yellow River (Zhongshan Bridge) on your second day, I suggest parking your car at the hotel and using the subway and walking to explore the Yellow River scenic area. You can then return to pick up your car. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Lanzhou.

However, the young man at the front desk handling my check-in was clearly unfamiliar with the process and took a very long time. The other female staff members, on the other hand, were highly professional.

Plus, parking at the museum itself is difficult. Next to the hotel is Lanzhou Center shopping mall, with lots of food options, also very convenient. The hotel itself is decent and serves its purpose well for a one-night stop during a road trip.

Lanzhou was the last stop on our Qinghai-Gansu Loop trip. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. Holiday Inn has always been my top choice for accommodation when traveling. However, this time the price I booked on Ctrip was actually more expensive than the hotel's walk-in rate, which I don't understand – Ctrip seems a bit dishonest.

Although the hotel is directly opposite the Gansu Provincial Museum across the road, you can't cross directly. You'll need to walk around to get to the museum, so factor in extra time. If you find that inconvenient, taking a taxi would be a more hassle-free option.
