Ibis Hotel (Lanzhou West Railway Station)

The location is great, close to the train station, and convenient for shopping and dining. However, the room is a bit small, and the breakfast selection is limited, with the juice seeming not fresh. There was also a hole in the bedsheet.

Don't go to the square when you exit the West Station. Instead, turn right immediately and walk along the small road for about 10 minutes, and you'll arrive. It's a two-story commercial building on the outer ring of a residential area, so there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel's breakfast was also quite good, with two hot dishes, fried rice, and fried noodles. It was a satisfying meal.

I stayed at this hotel several times last year. It's close to West Station, and while the facilities are average, the service used to be great. This time, however, the biggest impression was that the service has really gone downhill; it felt like a small guesthouse rather than a standardized chain hotel. I arrived in the morning, and the front desk staff didn't even ask what room type I'd booked, just flat-out said there were no rooms available and I couldn't check in until 12 PM. This isn't the service I'd expect from a HUAZHU hotel.

I stayed here the night before catching a train to the airport from Lanzhou West Station the next morning. It's super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the station entrance. There was a faint smell of smoke in the room, so I slept with the window open, but it was fine.

The room attendant was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.
