Lanzhou Zhongshan Hotel

I must commend the front desk staff, they were incredibly attentive. The housekeeping staff was also very responsible; they even called me to let me know that my friend's mooncakes 🥮 were left in the room, even though I had already checked out and couldn't go back to retrieve them. Also, I highly recommend the ramen shop next to the backyard parking lot. It's clean, hygienic, and has a lovely cozy vibe. The open-plan kitchen dining environment is so much better and quieter than the chaotic dining scenes outside.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right by the Yellow River at Zhongshan Bridge. You can easily walk to the cable car station and climb Tashan Mountain from here. Right across the street, there's a fantastic beef noodle place (highly recommended by our driver!). The pedestrian street is also within walking distance. In the evenings, you can enjoy a cup of tea by the river, and there's a terrace upstairs for beautiful night views. All in all, it was a perfect stay.

Overall, it was quite good. The room facilities and cleanliness were decent, as expected from a hotel with military ties – they generally wouldn't be bad. So, here's what was great and what could be improved. **The good:** * It's genuinely close to Zhongshan Bridge and the Yellow River! * The service was excellent! * The window soundproofing was good. **What could be improved:** * The door soundproofing was average. There were a lot of cars coming and going, causing traffic jams.

Quiet yet convenient, it's very easy to pop back to the room for a rest while exploring. The night view of Zhongshan Bridge is stunning; you can take a leisurely stroll along the river in the evening. It's also very close to several nearby night markets and pedestrian streets.

Great location, right by Zhongshan Bridge. You just go downstairs and cross the pedestrian bridge to get there. The bedding is quite comfortable, and the facilities are complete.

Great location! The Iron Bridge is right at the doorstep, and there's a popular old noodle shop nearby too. It's a really lively area.

This was my second stay here, and the front desk staff upgraded my room, which was a lovely surprise. They also have a laundry room, which is super convenient for travelers who pack light. The hotel is right next to Zhongshan Bridge, making it really easy to get around.

The room was clean and tidy. It's really convenient for sightseeing, right next to the Yellow River and Zhongshan Bridge. It's also very close to Zhangye Road Pedestrian Street and the food street. This is my second stay here, and I highly recommend it!

Zhongshan Hotel boasts an excellent location, right across the street from Zhongshan Bridge. The river view rooms offer a panoramic view of Zhongshan Bridge, the Yellow River, and Baita Mountain. However, parking is extremely difficult, and the rooms are also very small.
