Lanzhou dawanjia Youth Hostel

The sanitary facilities are decent, and the room and bathroom/washroom are separate. There's a closet, but you need to go up to the 3rd floor via stairs. The drying rack can be pulled down. You have to walk up some stairs to the very end of the hallway. It's quite close to the train station.

After staying in so many hostels, I finally found one with no smoking allowed inside the rooms, and a dedicated smoking area. The environment is clean, facilities are complete, and the location isn't far from the train station, making transportation very convenient.

Very close to the train station, and the city center is easily accessible by bus. There are plenty of restaurants near the hostel. The entrance is a bit tricky to find, as it leads past numerous construction sites and run-down apartments. The hostel itself looks okay. You get a bed, but nothing else is included (no towels, no toothbrush, etc.). The bathrooms and the stairs leading up to them could definitely use some renovation. A 100 ¥ deposit is required at check-in, but it's refundable. I only stayed one night, and it was perfectly adequate for that.
