Mercure Lanzhou Zhongshan Bridge Zhengning Road Hotel

The family room's shower area could use a higher waterproof barrier, but everything else was quite good, and we slept very comfortably. The farewell gift was a nice touch; getting a little souvenir upon check-out was great.

Lanzhou was the twelfth stop on our road trip, and we chose this hotel in the old city. It was peak season for Gannan tours, so the hotel was fully booked. Parking was limited, but the security guard was super helpful and found me a spot in a nearby residential complex. The hotel facilities were comprehensive, and they even provided complimentary mini-bar drinks. The laundry room on the 5th floor only had three washing machines, which meant queuing during peak season. I'd suggest adding two more. The hotel is conveniently located just 288 meters from the pedestrian street, with plenty of food options right downstairs.

The hotel was pretty good overall. It had small appliances like a fridge and microwave, and the cleanliness was decent. It's also conveniently located near Zhengning Street Night Market, which is lively at night, and shopping nearby is super easy.

The room overall was pretty good, very quiet, with no disruptive noise. There's a laundry room and a gym on the 5th floor, and a self-service restaurant on the 2nd. The front desk staff were very welcoming; seeing we had a child, they proactively offered kids' toiletries and slippers. There's a lounge area on the ground floor for relaxing and having tea. What's really convenient is that you don't even have to go downstairs to pick up takeout; a robot delivers it right to your room! It's a bit removed from the hustle and bustle but still very close to Zhengning Road Night Market – just a short walk away. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir and a small toy for the child, which was incredibly thoughtful. Overall, I had a great experience and hope to visit again.

We booked three rooms together and extended our stay for two more days. The rooms were clean and hygienic. Highly recommend! The location is also excellent.
