It is recommended that Chinese people pass the customs directly and live in China. It is very simple and fast to walk through the customs in Lao Cai. It seems that customs working hours are 9:10 pm. It is very simple to walk to the China Customs from anywhere in Lao Cai. Very fast, finished within half an hour.
