La Mirada Hotel and Serviced Apartments Reviews

I like the fact that for the amount paid, it gave us 2 double bed. The room is spacious and has a small balcony where you can see the view well. They gave us freebies as well. The thing I hate during our stay was that there's unecessary sound like knocking the door though there is no one outside. There was also a cockroach seen by my Mom while we were asleep near our pillow good thing she saw it before it reached my baby. Other than that, im all good with our stay even though its a bit inconvenient checking in at SotoGrande instead of within La Mirada itself.

They advertised an ocean view, but from the balcony, you could only glimpse a tiny bit of the sea. The hotel felt quite old too... the floor was peeling, and they didn't change the sheets. I guess it's a typical Filipino hotel, for better or worse. Only taxis or Grab would come to the hotel, and when I asked them to call a taxi, they demanded 100 PHP, so I waited for a Grab, no matter how long it took. The previous hotel I stayed at, the Vistamar Hotel, was much better.

I stayed here during New Year's and the fireworks over the ocean were absolutely beautiful. The location isn't the best, but the room was very clean.

Stayed here for an additional night to relax. Hotel was far from things to do and food.

Pro: Nice view, quiet (suburban), okay quality breakfast. Con: Bit far from downtown / airport, reception mostly empty, old facility, cold water.

It was a nice place to relax and unwind. The service was good and the food is satisfying.

Great resort, will plan to come back.

I have no problem at the solograndes front desk the staffs were very approachable and has a pleasant attitude in welcoming guests but La Mirada's front desk isn't approachable and doesn't have any proper etiquette in talking to guests.

I would recommend this hotel. Only one thing disappointing was the Breakfast. Very little choice. And you had to wait for items

Our stay was pleasant and smooth. Though the place is a bit old, it still serves its purpose with the pool and the beach access. It is also conveniently near essential stores.

The hotel staff are very friendly, the service is great, and the accommodation is very clean.

It was really nice that it was right in front of the beach, but you can only get to New Mactan by taxi. There are only two pools to use, and the ocean was a bit dirty. It was a shame that I couldn't stay even half a night. If you're arriving early in the morning, it's better to book one night in advance or stay half a night at another accommodation. If you just come to check in early, you'll have to pay a very high price.
