Crown Regency Suites Mactan

Booked this for my girlfriend and her mother, and they were very satisfied. From the location to the service, facilities, and decor, this hotel enjoys an excellent reputation in Lapu-Lapu City.

1. The room facilities are old and run-down. 2. The hygiene was appalling; the bedsheets and pillowcases were blackened and stained everywhere. It's almost unimaginable! 3. Being right next to the main road, the constant motorcycle noise made it impossible to sleep all night! I've never stayed in such a terrible hotel. Does Ctrip not vet or control hotels of this caliber? Do you really think this is fair to the trust of your loyal platform users?!

Right off the bat, one big negative: a 2000 peso deposit, regardless of whether you're staying one night or more. I find this very puzzling. The rooms are all clean and have everything you need. However, there are no dishes or utensils at all, which is strange given the presence of a kitchen. You'll need to ask the front desk for an adapter to charge your devices. Most of the facilities that used to operate on-site are now closed. The pool is neglected. Overall, this place is falling into disrepair. The location isn't great; it's far from all the action, massage places, and outlets. For a slightly higher price, there are more interesting places available. And it seems there's noise in the rooms pretty much everywhere. The beds are comfortable.

The hotel's location is close to the airport and SM Mall, just a 5-10 minute walk away. Along the way, there's a McDonald's, Jollibee, and KFC. There's also a supermarket within the mall, which was convenient for groceries. Getting a ride was easy too. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old, but otherwise, it's acceptable. This is my second time staying here.
