Vista Mar Beach Resort & Country Club Cebu

This is my second time visiting, and what I love most about the place is the sense of healing and peace it brings, especially during sunrise and sunset. I also appreciate its location and the charm of its old-style architecture. However, it would be even better if they updated their telephones.

there was a cockroach under our bed. The foods were very good and the staffs were very accommodating. This hotel doesn't have a face towel and served only a bath towel. This place is pretty old Spanish style so you can see the molds and broken walls and tiles around your rooms.

We enjoyed the location because of its accessibility to the beach. The property is old and may need a major renovation. Public areas are not well maintained.

We stayed at Vistamar Resort in Mactan from October 11–13, and overall, it was a wonderful and restful experience. The facilities are a bit outdated, but everything worked fine. Rooms were clean and comfortable, linens fresh, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The Wi-Fi connection was good, and we enjoyed having free access to Netflix in our room. Food was okay, and we appreciated the 30% discount for in-house guests at the restaurant. Corkage is allowed without any fees, which was a plus. They even gave us complimentary use of the billiards table for my daughter’s birthday—something we truly appreciated. The beach was clean and calm, perfect for swimming or relaxing. We hope the beach hours could be extended from 6 AM to 6 PM, so guests can enjoy early morning dips or sunset views. The pool area could use a bit more maintenance, but it’s not a big issue. Despite some aging facilities, the quiet, peaceful environment made it an ideal place to unwind. We’re grateful for the experience and will definitely be coming back. 🫶🏻

An excellent experience, only a short stay but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The view from the pool was gorgeous.

Good impression on arrival, though it's, a bit isolated. Great ladies on reception and my room was ready early. Really lovely pools and surroundings, though they could tidy up stuff around the plants a little more. The beach was just great, sandy with no huge stones etc. Very peaceful in evening. Staff are very friendly and helpful. On the negative side, food wasn't so good and telatiby expensive, tho American breakfast was fine. Residents enjoy a 30% discount which helps. Can't work out why French fries were 580 pesos!!! I didn't go there. Drinks were good with discount.
