C Suites at Mactan Newtown Reviews

We love our stay here. The staff were accommodating and approachable. We had trouble with the kitchen area but we managed to sort it out. The rooms had two aircondition units which made the rooms comfortable.

I always use this place when I'm in Mactan Newtown. Overall, I'm very satisfied, but this time, I couldn't get through to the front desk, there was a power outage, towels weren't left after room cleaning, the air conditioning was acting up, and one of the elevators was out for repair, causing huge crowds. Despite all this, the service is great, and I absolutely love it overall. Even with the chaos, the staff are always kind, and I'll definitely keep coming back. It's just a shame that the facilities are showing their age; that's the only downside.

location is great! unit size is also great for its price. but the place needs some renovation. the facilities  and amenities were not very well maintained. generally, good for its price, but could have been better. :)

I picked this accomodation in order to just relax. However, this wasn't as well as it was advertised. Checkin process: First, you arrive at the spot that Trip tells you, but on the floor there is no sign for the accomodation name anywhere, I eventually after going in multiple places, found a reception security guard that had my name, but he tried calling the staff for pension and no response. So he gives me directions and a bunch of information. 6F1C. 6th floor. I go up the lift to 6th floor and it just appears like a bunch of flat doors again no sign anywhere to advertise the place, so I go down to the security guard again and he tells me to just go in the door 6F. So I did that. The checkin was too long and overly complicated with a thousand rules (that is never good when a accomodation does it). I was also informed that mondays the swimming pool is closed which was nit advertised like that on Trip. Which really messed up my plan for relaxing. Anyway deposit and just get into the room and I''ll have a cold shower instead. Anyway, checkin works on Filipino time and the staff didn't appear too engaged into the situation. Apartment: When you initially walk in it is good, but no tv channels and no netflix account or anything so you are left to see youtube. The bathroom however, the shower stank and it has simole household bath curtains. Which were moldy. So I didn't use the shower much. Accessibility: Not good. It is a very active building with lots of apartments and just one lift and no stairs. They decided that there were not going to have the second lift operational. So wait times to up or down were a nightmare at times. Location: Meh, nothing much too see. The only statues there are closed off for access 😅 Checkout: I was in a rush so I just handed the keys back on 6th floor and left, the staff was asking me to wait and I just said no. I had a flight to catch and I was already delayed. I don't know what she wanted but I seriously had no time to figure it out and then to be stuck waiting for the lift again. Verdict: Way too overpriced for what they offer and poorly managed. You can get a normal hotel with no swimming pool in Cebu city for much less and with the same amount of enjoyment and relaxation.

The room was nice and clean. I love the view around the hotel especially in the pool area.

Hotel had a good location and had so much potential to be better than it was Upon check in the room looked not to have been cleaned properly, masses of dust had accumulated on top of the fridge over time, from what I can only assume was from not been cleaned on any room service cleans prior, same with the bathroom extractor unit , covered in dust , both shown in the images attached. Room had scuff marks and stains of the table, balcony area was dirty and clearly never been cleaned, microwave had seen better days and furniture was in need of replacing or a good clean. Room had no hot water so could not shower, was reported twice and whilst it was fixed on the 2nd call out, water was lukewarm at best . Only shampoo was given but no shower gel. The pool area you are entitled to use a maximum of 2 hrs a day, you rove even need 5 minutes , the area is in need of a maintenance overhaul and is a danger zone waiting to happen, was advised they do have a maintenance team which begs the question , where are they. Firstly not one sun longer was out by the pool So there was nowhere to leave any of your stuff, when asked I was advised ohh due to an earlier storm we removed them all, strange as not one other hotel in the area had done this as I visited 3 of them prior, all had loungers out. Plus the stom was no longer around so if it’s safe enough to open the pool why isn’t it safe enough to have loungers. The sheer mention of them quoting health and safety at the pool area yuh was ironic as the pool area is its self a disaster waiting to happen, Floor area tiles around the pool were very loose and sticking out, sharp corners raised edges , many pool tiles missing, it’s only a matter of time before someone hurts themself, can be seen in the attached photos If I come back I’ll choose the area just not the hotel.

I like how the hotel receptionist are warm and welcoming. The room is also clean and spacious. A suggestion is that there should be a slipper and towel for guest. And bell should be alert whenever there are guest arriving specially if they have many and heavy things because when we arrive for check in it was just us ladies who pushed the cart and mind you it has stairs to enter the front desk. A little kindness won’t hurt. Overall place was nice just put effort on customer service. That would really help.

Toilet flush is not working and have to go to the other room if we need toilet and have to call maintenance at 3am bec of this issue. Aircon noisy  as well

The place is great, but there's some spot needs to be clean. They had a japanese washlet but it's broken. The hot water wasn't hot enough.

Service is good. I am amazed with the facilities. Since I am not a local I enjoyed the views.

It was an average condo hotel I thought its an nice hotel But its just a condo hotel With no food facilites Anyway the room was good View was nice but not good as expected😔

This is our fourth time to stay in this area of Mactan Lapu-Lapu. Each time we have stayed in the same building but in different condo units. The area is great and is developing every time we have visited. Very close to the beach, restaurants, shops etc. Staff were friendly and helpful but there were a few occasions I had to call the lobby or go to the front desk to remind them about things. The apartment building is getting older needs a lot of maintenance, the cracks on the wall weren’t as much of a big issue but the shower wasn’t secured to the wall properly, the glass door made a loud cracking sound every time we closed or opened it, the shower/ bath made the floor wet this caused the water to get under the tiles and move the tiles when I stepped on them. The water drainage was slow that I would be standing in a bath while having a shower, there were chips along the brown panel around the bottom of the wall. Rust on some of the things in the condo too. The pool also had titles missing and two panels of the glass which I had noticed when we had stayed two years ago hadn’t been fixed. The lounger chairs we had previously experienced replaced with uncomfortable chairs and tables.
