Baymont by Wyndham Fort Collins

Worst experience with a hotel we have ever had. The manager ‘Vicky’ was a 70 year old woman with no teeth and multiple hickeys on her neck, dressed completely unprofessionally for any employee yet alone a manager. The other worker was incredibly confrontational after my friend said we needed a different room (which I’ve worked hotels for years and it’s not that hard to change small things whether booking 3rd party or not, to accommodate your guests). They were incredibly confrontational and rude, the employee said ‘or what’ to my friend after she was trying to say we needed a room or-( and was cut off) or we have to sleep in the car with 4 adults and a child. It was not a threat, but the employee made it a whole situation and was incredibly aggressive. After we had to book two rooms because my cousin didn’t have her ID, which we found, came back and then they did absolutely nothing for us. We were at the lake all day with a 5 year old and didn’t wanna drive home. They told us initially that they couldn’t cancel or refund my cousins room, then after the employees were completely out of line towards us- they all of a sudden could and would cancel my reservation. However we are out the money we paid(for two rooms) and now had to find another hotel. Which is a blessing because what a poorly ran hotel. Completely unprofessional, unacceptable and ghetto. Do NOT give these people your money. Went to the hotel next door, the staff was incredibly more professional, the pool, staff and entire process was so much more worth it for a small amount of money more.

Make extra time for check in it will take over 30 minutes and the elevator is broken so if youre in a wheelchair or need the elevator call prior

They made me sign some a weird contract before I could stay. The room had hair in the bed, crumbs and stains on the floor, and the sink had the last persons toothpaste in it. The worst part was the in room AC which spread dust and other gross smells across the room

I paid for the room with the confirmation code/receipt and everything, but wasn’t allowed to check-in or even stay here because it was after 6pm when I showed up. I showed up close to 7pm, if I recall. They fully denied me staying here after spending $80. I never thought to even consider a check-in window of 3-6 being a thing, and was shocked I was even able to purchase it to begin with. The girl at the front desk was very dismissive, cold and not sympathetic at all and it was a very, very weird interaction. There’s probably some small print somewhere specifying this crazy small check-in window, but I highly doubt most customers ever think about that being a variable. I can also not get a refund, so it was just a waste of $80. I ended up staying next door at the Comfort inn, which was really nice and had a very friendly and understanding staff. I am now a lifelong enemy of Baymont, and will only say horrible things about them until I’m six feet under. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

Shortly after booking I received a text inviting me to checkin online to save time- which I did. This included uploading a pic of my drivers license, vehicle plates and payment info. When I arrived, instead of picking up my room keys, check-in process was very strange and uncomfortable, with the male attendant insisting on showing me the room prior to checkin. He expected me to go inside with him and have a look around. The elevators weren't working so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. Then go back down to the desk to sign multiple documents to check in. I was told they didn’t have remote check in. The room itself was missing trim and the shower looked unclean but the bed was very clean and that’s all that really matters. I won’t be staying here again but will admit you get what you pay for.

I did even get stay, I had to do a refund because I couldn't do the deposit. Manger at Baymont said she was going to do the refund and I didn't receive my refund . I called the manger about my refund and she continually hung up on me being very unprofessional, telling something different about my refund. She told me I had to contact ********* because I did my reservation through there. I got through to the hotel com customer service but they couldn't do anything because they couldn't confirm the reservation because the manger lady at Baymont was hanging on them also. She was being very hostile and I lost money I worked hard for

Amenities they said there was gonna be breakfast it was all bread products I think when offering breakfast there should be options

Seemed more like a halfway house than a motel. Noise from the room next door-fighting yelling. Parking lot has homeless and drunk people walking around and peering unto my truck. Would not have felt safe with family or children and was affraid my truck would be robbed so I left after only two restless hours.
