The walls are paper thin. You hear everything that your neighbours are doing from watching TVs to arguing in the middle of the night. Staff is unfriendly and unsupportive. Room cleaning is only done when you request it. Of the two hot plates in the pantry kitchen only one worked. Utensils and plates provided are very basic. Furniture is worn and run down. On the plus side: a safe is provided free of charge.

Great central hotel, more of a studio type room with kitchen, washing machine, comfortable bed and seating area, counter staff really helpful and friendly. It is above a good restaurant/bar and in a busy commercial area so expect some noise from traffic and the streets.

Large and somewhat chaotic city but orderly in its incessant traffic. Calle Triana is pedestrian and is the shopping street. The covered market is worth seeing, the fruit and vegetables are arranged and displayed in an orderly and inviting way. There are beautiful parks, the one in Santa Catalina is wonderful, not to be missed. If you want the beach, Canteras is beautiful, large and its promenade is full of restaurants, for all tastes. In the Sant'Elmo station you will find guaguas for all your destinations, you can buy the ticket on board, even with credit cards. The green parrots fly in the palm trees and are quite a sight. Kilometer-long seafront walks and cycle paths everywhere. In short, there is everything and more.
