Bayshore Inn

The staff was very nice, and the woman who greeted me at the front desk actually showed me to my room. Unfortunately, the sink in the bathroom was quite clogged with women’s hair and after I ran water down it for a hand washing it did not drain all night. The stopper in the bathtub also did not want to stay up on its own and I had to Rig it to stay open so I can shower. Beyond that, everything just looks a little rundown down here. Still, the property was very quiet and I got a good nights sleep.

Place needs a bit of updating, but comfortable spacious room had everything we needed. Staff helpful and friendly. Dining limited due to location.

Great people at the front desk, clean and spacious room, would definitely come back

I’m currently staying here on a business trip. While the hotel itself isn’t terrible, it is quite dated. I’m now on my seventh day, and my room has yet to be cleaned even once. Additionally, this is the second consecutive morning I’ve woken up to find there’s no hot water for a shower, which is rather frustrating. I did have a positive experience with Melanie—she was helpful and courteous. However, my interaction with another staff member was disappointing. When I inquired about a Walmart order that had been marked as delivered to the front desk, he simply asked, “Which room are you in?” and then said, “Well, maybe you should check there.” All things considered, this hasn’t been the most pleasant hotel experience.

The service was very special and comfortable. We got a little guided tour when we arrived very personable. Melody is amazing. The property was nice. It was great having the 24 hour bar and the wonderful little Chicago restaurant. We enjoyed both very much.

Had to take a cold water chase and a cool shower before the water warmed up.
