I had a really lovely stay at Fassbind Hotel Palmier Lausanne. The location is perfect — right next to the train station and just steps from the M2 metro, which makes everything so easy. My room was clean, spacious, and had a very nice, cozy vibe. I immediately felt comfortable. The staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, it was a great experience and I would happily stay here again.

Was a good hotel itself, nice interior and nice rooms. Unfortunately the floor I was living on had an absolutely horrible smell (nobody could tell me why or really cared). Also I was coming to Lausanne with my long distance boyfriend and we booked a room with a large bed and not singles. The „large bed“ we got was just two singles put together and during the night one of us always ended up falling into the crack in between the beds because they kept moving apart. I asked and that is the case for all of their rooms. Unfortunately those two things led to a decently unpleasant stay but if that wasn’t the case we would’ve had a great time there.

The hotel is easily spotted right from Lausanne train station and looks quite charming. However, it's situated on a slope, so dragging our luggage uphill was a bit tiring. Despite this, its location makes getting around very convenient.

The location is exactly in the centre of the city which made it very convenient to access the metro and the railway. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is beautiful.

My second stay here was still a great experience. The room was simply furnished yet offered ample space, enough to comfortably open two large suitcases, and was clean throughout. The hotel's location is fantastic, being close to both the metro and train station, with plenty of restaurant options nearby. Should I return to Lausanne, I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the station, which also has a Coop supermarket. However, the uphill walk to the hotel can be a bit challenging. The Cathedral is less than a 10-minute walk away, and from a nearby subway station, you can easily reach the southern port. The Olympic Museum is also just a stone's throw away. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and greeted us with a smile. We really appreciate her service.
