The online self-check-in system is excellent and very convenient. The room facilities are well-designed, making it easy to cook and dry clothes. When staying at most hotels in Lausanne, Lausanne Tourisme provides a free transportation card. However, this Rue Caroline Vision Apartment, despite multiple email contacts, was unwilling to assist with this, and no explanation was given for their refusal.

Communication with the room service was very quick; they always responded to any questions I had. The room was clean.

Close to the historic center. It's a 20-minute walk from the train station along picturesque streets, but keep in mind that half the way is uphill (the terrain is very rugged) and on cobblestones. The room is spacious and fairly clean. It has a comfortable bed and a large combined bathroom, with ours having both a bathtub and a shower. The kitchen has almost everything you need. The elevators are quite small. Access to the building and the room is via a password (a few digits) – they only send it on the day of your arrival. Overall, we liked it, and by Swiss standards, it's relatively inexpensive.

The building essentially does not have wifi. If you are in Lausanne for any kind of business, avoid at all costs.

Awful service, awful place, no staff, nobody speaks English, you have to bake for a towel or a little shampoo, check in is a nightmare, loud, rude and uncooperative recipients. I do not recommend it to anyone. However on top of all of that the location was good because it was 5 minutes from the most beautiful streets and stores
