Holiday Inn LAVAL - MONTREAL by IHG

Wonderful location. Quiet and kids love the pool. Reception are friendly.

The hotel was under construction and I wouldn’t have booked with them had I known. Beyond the noise the hallways and elevator were covered in dust and construction debris and my room smelt of dust and the air quality was horrible

I have a very nice room, clean, quiet and a nice temperature for sleeping. The shower was easy to use and the bathroom was clean with lots of towels. The staff went out of their way to help me get taxis and were very kind. I like the breakfast buffet and the hostess was such a nice lady. She was there to take away my used dishes and to refill my tea. She is a great asset to the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn and if I am ever in Laval again I will stay there for sure.

The hotel is currently under major renovations. The first room we got reeked of off gas from brand new carpet that was just installed. There were tarps everywhere and the parking lot was brutal with all the garbage bins and extra cars from construction workers. On top of this I found the hotel staff very far from accommodating. Everything we inquired about seemed to be a nuisance. We were staying here with a team and when asked if we could use the breakfast room to sit down in and connect after our games it was a hard no. They weren’t open to offering anything or helping set us up. Would not recommend

Staff was lovely and room was clean. I didn’t love the workers loudly outside my window on scaffolding when I was trying to sleep. Also didn’t like not having a window due to renovation. It would have been nice to know in advance

Hotel was under construction. Pool was not open. We were awakened at 7am by loud construction noises right outside our window.
