Hôtel Mercure le Havre Centre Bassin du Commerce Reviews

This was my first visit to Le Havre and I stayed there. I think it's convenient because it's close to the beach, the station, and the city. Breakfast had many varieties and was delicious. All the staff were friendly and nice.

We chose this hotel because the Mercure chain always offers good comfort. Large, clean, soundproofed rooms. A great choice. We didn't have breakfast because, not being particularly hungry in the morning, it seemed pointless to spend 17 euros each.

Emplacement bien mais commodités j'ai pas trop aimé , les chambres sont très petites , pas d'aération

The room was too small even without a standard furniture like a desk and a closet. A little ran sowm 3* hotel

I left my jacket in bar b4 i went out,arrived back and the staff had put in my room for me .nice people x

Nice comfortable room. Only quibble with Bathroom was flooding of floor caused by blocked shower drain but this was fixed after we reported it. The bar was great.

Reception staff were great. I opted for the charity scheme, so instead of daily room servicing, the money was donated to charity.

The stay was very enjoyable and the hotel was excellent, the staff were very friendly. I was there for the Leinster v Racing 92 game. The hotel was a very good location for the stadium. I would stay here again.

Poor hotel, poor food, poor location

Nice location. Room was fine. Gave us the option to have a donation made to a children’s charity in lieu of room cleaning, which we liked. Bathroom towels are lame. Overall a nice stay

Helpful staff

Clearly, this hotel is overrated as a 4-star hotel. It has: no desk in the room, no single glass cup in the room, an elevator about one meter by one meter, a breakfast offering we decided not to take (others have commented on this)

Room is nice, restaurant is perfect, but the air con inside the room is not really good.

Still a great place to stay!
