Within a vast 5000m2 property in a typical village, 8km from the landing beaches and the medieval town of Bayeux, we offer this 40m2 gîte ideally located for access to the various historical sites. La Boulangerie is an independent accommodation, decorated in the purest English style with a cocoonnig atmosphere with its surface area of 40m2. You will appreciate its cozy, atypical and offbeat side and yet perfectly in harmony with the gardens that surround it. It has a mezzanine bedroom with sleeping space for 2 people (dimensions 160cm x200cm). You will also find a second sleeping space for 1 person. It has a fitted kitchen equipped with an induction hob, a sink, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a traditional multifunction oven and a microwave. A Tassimo pod machine and a traditional coffee maker are available, as well as a kettle and a toaster. A comfortable sofa will allow you to enjoy the living room and the 82cm full HD television. The accommodation, located near the swimming pool, is covered by fiber wifi like the rest of the property. Grill lovers can count on the Weber barbecue (47cm) at their disposal on the terrace. Beyond the private terrace, you will have access to the 5000m2 of gardens which accommodate the swimming pool, the tennis court, the ping-pong table and the Nordic bath for moments of relaxation and escape, whether for you or to share as a couple, with family or friends. You will find at Gîte de la Paix a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, in a green setting. Close to the city of Bayeux, its cathedral, its tapestry, its historic center and its amenities, you will be ideally located to enjoy the charm of the Bessin countryside while having quick access to sites linked to the Landing: museums, memorials, Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Arromanches, Longues sur Mer, etc... Unforgettable Stay!!! My girlfriend and I have traveled a lot and spent a lot of time in rental properties, and this place is definitely one of the best we have ever stayed at. From the great communication we received before the check in to after our check in, the entire process made us feel so welcome! Arnaud and Jessica are so kind, and the property they have is so beautiful! When we find ourselves in the Normandy area again, we hope it will include a stay at their property

D-Day/Bayeux Visit Arnaud and Jessica are lovely hosts. They were there to greet us and show us around. We were there in October when it was rainy so didn't get to enjoy all the outdoor areas but they would be wonderful in better weather. It was a great location to stay for visiting Bayeux and all the D-Day sites.

Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic, perfect! We stayed for just 2 days, but totally fell in love with this little cottage. We came to France to visit the D-Day beaches and memorials, and the cottage was a perfect base. After busy days, it was lovely to return to this cosy home, and the bed was possibly the most comfortable bed ever! Arnaud was the perfect host with lots of local knowledge and recommendations. Would 100% stay here again. X

Perfekter Urlaub Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen ruhigen Urlaub. Die Begrüßung durch die Vermieter und die Einweisung ins Objekt war super. Es wird Englisch gesprochen, sodass die Kommunikation reibungslos lief. Das Ferienhaus hatte alles was man braucht. Für 3 Personen war es völlig ausreichend. Der überdachte Pool lässt hervorragend auch bei schlechtem Wetter nutzen. Die Umgebung ist sehr geschichtsträchtig. Wer Ruhe, Geschichte und Herzlichkeit sucht, wird hier fündig.
