Landhaus Erika

"Landhaus Erika was a great find! Our room was nice and comfy We stayed in the Winter suite. The room was quiet. I loved the fireplace and jet tub. It was 2 blocks of the main street. I highly recommend this place!"

Abendblume

"We booked the hotel during the Labor Day weekend. One day before check-in, we wanted to check if we needed to bring a crib because we have a toddler traveling with us, so I called them and left a message. The next morning, a lady from the hotel (presumably the owner) called me and told us that our reservation must be cancelled because no children are allowed to stay in the hotel. I was surprised and mentioned that we didn't notice that restriction at all when booking the hotel. However, I was assured that our deposit would be refunded, and when I asked how, I was told it'd go back to my credit card directly. During that time, we felt grateful and thanked her for being flexible. Few days later, I didn't see the refund so I called her on the cell phone that she called me with. The moment she realized who's calling, she acted like the cell phone signal was not good and kept saying hello. I had to leave a message and hoped someone would call me back. However, no one called after two full days. In the following days, I called them multiple times using both the cell phone number and the official hotel phone number, and left a message each time, but no one from the hotel ever returned my call. I felt like I was treated like a fool. If you don't want to refund my deposit due to the policy, please state so upfront instead of playing tricks. Here is a warning to all future guests: if you want to deal with dishonest owners, please go ahead and book the hotel."

Haus Hanika

Hotel Leavenworth

"First time visitor to Leavenworth and compared and researched alot of different accommodations that was pet friendly, cost effective and well located to the center of activities.  Hotel Leavenworth exceeded our expectations.  Very generously sized room,  very pet friendly and perfectly located at the beginning of the Bavarian street.  Staff was welcoming and informative.  Will definitely stay here again."

Alpen Dorf Pension

"If any errors are made-or you suspect they’ve been made-on your bill, there is no way to get a response from anyone there. We went over for Autumn Leaf festival with some friends. They go every year & stay 3 nights. Someone backed out, so we filled their place, except we could only stay 2 nights. The place is everything it’s described as: beautifully done, perfect location, etc. BUT everything is done online-you never see anyone. So when we checked out, Rainee called us for our payment info for (the cheapest room)-Phyllis June. I paid them, internally deciding the cost was too high, so I wouldn’t come back. When I spoke to my friends they all said ,”That’s way too high for 2 nights, & there was someone in there Sunday night, you need to contact them!” I’ve called & left messages, I’ve emailed several times, I’ve asked for an invoice to be emailed to me - ZERO response. Get an invoice before you pay, that’s my advice."
