I have stayed at the hotel so long it's clear that it feels like home and I can honestly they they don't go less than above and beyond to help you feel at ease and at home I have not one complaint to make other than, can't you just let me live there guys xx 🥰 Helen on the desk is one of the loveliest people you'll probably encounter and if there's an issue they try their best to deal with it in a favourable manner so that you don't feel awkward or embarrassed, well once they know you better, you'll have to remember how many people they all deal with minute by minute and they aren't all reasonable, understanding or rationale but they all seem to keep their cool and keep a light humour to the situation which is lovely xx

Warm welcome (and Au revoir) by Daisy. Large hotel foyer with amazing Christmas tree /decorations. Room spacious and nice views of the canal. Ground floor bar good, Sky Bar amazing!! Less than 10 minutes walk to Leeds Trinity Shopping Centre. Leeds Arena 20 minutes, pleasant walk at top end of city. Drinks at this hotel cheaper than at the arena and you don’t get given an half pint plastic glass for your wife’s Prosecco!! Preferred Double Tree to the Hilton hotel positioned on busy main road. Staff all genuinely friendly, credit to the hotel.

I want to say how wonderful my stay was at Holiday Inn. The room was fabulous. Amazing facilities. A shout out to Anthony one of the night staff who had such a welcoming smile at all hours and down to earth attitude. its an old, cheaper hotel, you are getting what you pay for. Reading other reviews i agree the place did smell a bit like an old smokey bookshop and ”reception” was literally two leather sofa chairs with a playstation hooked up, but the guy there was perfectly friendly. The lock to our door was difficult to use, but we managed it. The hotel is very dated, and the beds were not amazing (pillows were VERY firm) but for an overnight or short stay it is fine providing you don't have high expectations. Fairly clean, just thrifty. We would go back knowing what we are paying for as the location was good and the area was really quiet with a few little chilled out coffee hotspots nearby.

Every member of staff couldn’t have been more helpful from the minute I walked in the door and you can tell it wasn’t a script. Gorgeous food at dinner and breaks fast was piping hot. Room had 2 double beds, spotless. I’ll always stay here now when I’m in our Leeds office

Don’t not stay here. Avoid. So first of all the owner was very intense and makes you feel uncomfortable. He slept in reception on a sofa which we thought was strange. Went to the toilet in the night and got told to go to bed while he was laid on the sofa. When we first arrived he was bossy and rude and made up go on a tour of the whole building which he bossed us round. The whole place is dirty and needs done up, the toilets stink of urine and the toilet seat came of every time it was used. The room we were given for 6 of us was tiny, the beds were awful. It did not have enough plugs at all. The carpet was stained and dirty. You would have to pay me to stay here again, avoid at all costs and pay more to stay elsewhere. It had bars on the window like jail.
