Was really comfy beds shower was good had coffe and tea also.

Margaret on reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable but overall the hotel smells a little stale. Need to get rid of small plastic bottles of shampoo etc and get dispensers to improve eco rating.

Ideally located to wedding venue we were attending. Friendly reception staff made us feel welcome. Room was warm and comfortable.

Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Hotel is very clean. The rooms are very comfortable. Dinner was very tasty (excellent fish & chips and steak & chips, wide selection of gins). Have stayed before with two small dogs, and will definitely stay again as they really are pet friendly.

Comfortable bed and clean room.
Hotel is located adjacent a main road but traffic noise was not an issue.
Restaurant food was adequate but un-exciting.
We did not have breakfast.
The bar price for Port was incorrect in that a single measure was 25ml whereas it should be 50ml.
Our a portion of our bar bill was refunded without question when I informed the hotel manager.

Only stayed one night but couldn’t fault anything while there, friendly competent staff, we had a nice meal in the restaurant, will be back again when visiting the area.

The room was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed but the food was a let down. We were warned that they had a new chef and the old chef had left the kitchen in a disarray so the new chef was struggling. However the food was disappointing to say the least. I had a passable spaghetti bolognaise but my son had a practically inedible pizza which was very doughy and not fully cooked. Unfortunately there was no other choice for getting food anywhere else so the hotel was the only option for where to eat.
