Premier Inn Leicester Central (A50)

We had been out of the country flying in via Heathrow, and used this as a stopover on the way home, and to visit Richard III museum and Belgrave Road area of Leicester. We were early and took the opportunity to pay £10 for early check in. Reception staff were very helpful and rearranged things to enable us to check in early. We were given room 205 which was at the end of the corridor and no one above us. Room looks as if it has been recently refurbed - grouting clean etc. Also, had a bath, which was nice. Very nearly a 5 but given 4 out of 5 because: 1: smoking section in entrance - if I had a bedroom over the arch, smoke would have drifted upwards. 2: car parking tight in places and someone squeezed their car in a 1/2 space next to ours. We just moved ours away from the entrance into larger spaces. 3: No soft close toilet seat, come on guys. 4: We used extra pillows but still not the fluffiest, in hindsight, should have asked for an extra one. We didn't use breakfast facility. Morrisons nearby. Bus stops good for getting into Leicester. Overall, would definitely return and would recommend. Very close to a 5.

A great friendly. Clean welcoming hotel . Great staff . Great breakfast. Clean . Tidy . Comfortable rooms . I recommend it to anyone. The location is good easy to get to from motorway. And easy to get into central Leicester.

Part of my job requires a lot of travelling , and I have to say was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the breakfast that was on offer , presentation, spot on, variety , and very tasty , well done to the breakfast crew, would definitely recommend to anybody staying out in the area

Great place, nice and clean, staff were lovely and let us check in earlier without the additional fee (30mins). They were really helpful and a staff member showed us to our room so we didn’t have to go looking around. The hotel room itself was nice, the bed was really comfortable, we had no issues whatsoever and had an amazing stay. Loved that our check out was at 12, as in most hotels it is 11, so we got that extra time. We had breakfast which was lovely, really well cooked and the chef was really pleasant and friendly to us and to other people. Overall we had a great experience and can’t wait to stay here again.

Location good, room was large with air con, comfy bed, parking available. Generally a good place to stay in when visiting Leicester. Whilst not close to the town centre, delivery is available for most restaurants in Leicester which helped.

It’s bout clean and there is some nails on the carpet and we request to receptionist Mr C and we left for few hours and we back at night but no action taken and the night receptionist don’t know about the problem. So not happy at all.

Very comfortable stay and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, was able to use the microwave at the reception. Beds were also very comfortable and there was plenty parking onsite. WiFi was a bit let down

We stay regularly at Premier Inns as a family and so we know it is cheap and cheerful. This is one of the worst we have stayed at. The first room we went into was unclean - bits of dirt all over the carpet. I complained and got moved to another (still dirty) room and was told there was no cleaning staff available to hoover the floor (which was my main complaint). I then looked in the bathroom which was dirty too. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Apart from that the room was fine. Location was good for a bus into central Leicester. But it’s hard to overlook a dirty floor for me, especially with children. So we won’t stay here again.

We stayed last year for a visit to the space centre and were returning for another visit. This stay was much better than last year whereby we had a very creaky bed which kept us awake a lot of the night, we were told that the mattresses and beds are all new now. The restaurant staff were all very nice and friendly as were the reception staff ,the breakfast was good and kept topped up when getting low.would definitely return.
