Villare Leicester City Centre Hotel

Stayed here for two days and had a really good experience. The room was proper big and comfortable, and the washroom was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. Really happy with the service overall. Cheers!

Staff were very helpful and the room was very spacious and it was lovely to have the balcony. Great location and easy access to taxis and public transport

Lift not working. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Dusty.

Centrally located which is very handy and good balcony view. City noise as to expected. Comfy and big bed and lots of lights and spare plugs. I like the independence and and also concierge if needed. Checking out as late as 11am was a luxury.

Despite the room being a non smoking room the smell of stale smoke was unbearable. Despite complaining and asking to move rooms, the solution was to give me some room spray that failed to mask the smell and just made it worse… As I result I barely slept and I have gone to office the next day exhausted and smelling of stale smoke.

When we arrived and got to the check in, in the bar area there was no one there for ages. When we got the keys to our room then when we arrived the room was very small and had someone’s lunch still on the window cill. We went back to the bar area to complain about the room and was upgraded to a bigger room.

This is never a 4 star hotel! I was really disappointed, ******* said breakfast was included but they don’t even serve breakfast. Waited 20 minutes in the morning to check out and no one was in reception. Another lady also checked out and said her room smelled of smoke and didn’t feel safe in the hotel. The lady when checking in was really nice and accommodating but the hotel itself was really poor! I think it’s more of a 2 star hotel and I won’t stay there again.

Walked in to a Freezing Room with Windows Open in the Middle of Winter and a Lack of Sufficient Heating for a Room its Size (Room 15). No Radiators in Room just an Aircon above Entrance. Bedding was suitable for Summer not Winter..............Warmer in an Igloo.
