Good location next to train station and last stop on bear trek. The hotel seemed old and with a funny setup. Difficult to find the reception (on -1 floor) which was not staffed (had to call a number for someone to show up). Breakfast was OK but had to pay 5 franc extra for cappucino. Room was bad, fake lineóleum flooring was loose, no view execpt to the main road and a roof over the swimming pool. Door to bathroom did not close, door damaged by moist, no ventilation (did not work), decor from the 60ies, moldy bath curtain, shower head not descaled in decades, shower floor dangerously slippery, grease marks on mattress, mattress very uncomfortable, no bedside light for reading (only ceiling), no amenities in room besides soap. Room was too warm despite outside temp of 10deg C (above pool area ?) If you get a good room with a view maybe it is a good hotel, but we probably got the worst room in a not so crowded hotel. Not sure how this gets 4 stars ?
