Hotel Terminal - Caroli Hotels

Sadly the hotel is not like in the pictures. I drove 3.5 hours to get here in an effort to review the facility for two American travel agencies - I had to check in with the front desk 4 times between 1:30 and 4 and was not offered options for checking or an update on when I would be able to, except check in is at 4. My rooms is needing a lot of TLC - holes in the wall. No where to hand towels and the shower is literally 2.5 ft by 3 - only a small child can fit in there. The walls are paper thin and the staff lacks customer service know how - - absolutely stay away from this place - my honest assessment.

We stayed in the historic annex. Great from the outside but old fashioned inside and somewhat cluttered. Interesting building though. Very friendly staff but breakfast was a let down

Nice setting & location Polite staff We visited only for lunch on a rainy day. No olive oil given with the bread. No pepper offered. Food was edible but a bit like school dinners - somewhat underwhelming for a hotel restaurant. I was expecting something more interesting I had orechiette with rib meat. It tasted only of tomatoes. I added a sachet of pepper that i was carrying in my handbag. My partner had escalopes of pork. Nice sauce but it looked very plain (no garnish to make it look pretty). His serving of potatoes and vegetables was luke warm. Despite all of this we ate all of the food exxcept for the bread We were not offered dessert nor coffee at the end of the meal...just "Go to reception to pay" Probably would choose somewhere else to eat next time. The menu and service here need modernising.

we came upon this hotel quite by chance & it is wonderful. Right on the Promenade, and we were given sea views as the hotel was not busy at the end of February. Well appointed rooms & bathrooms , the staff were friendly & really helpful. A great place to sit back & relax. Also great value - we will definitely visit again
