老闆一家人都很親切。
房間乾淨衞生，雖然硬件設施沒有城市的酒店好，住着也挺舒服。中秋的夜晚在樓下小院或者四樓露台上賞月都很棒。
老闆做菜超級好吃，每頓飯都是光盤。關鍵好吃還不貴！
下次來茂蘭還要住這裏，洞腮真是世外桃源般的存在。

是此行旅遊唯一一家不提供免費瓶裝水，一次性拖鞋的客棧。客棧衞生一般，樓梯間有發黴的臭味，衞生間侷促，站在蹲坑洗澡洗澡水流很小很小，空調啟動一分鐘停幾分鐘，一宿沒睡好。也是唯一一家收取按金的客棧。總之不推薦。

民宿位於茂蘭景區內，安靜又舒服，老周老闆接待的我們，熱心有耐心，做飯也特別好吃，土雞現做鮮香肉嫩。老周作為我們的嚮導，帶我們體驗了探洞路線，講解詳細，見識到了原生態溶洞，辨認中草葯、蘭科植物，還遇見了小松鼠和猴子等動物朋友，有意思的體驗！下午在老周的推薦下去了青龍潭、青龍瀑布，因為下雨水量特別大，體驗了瀑布的魄力。下午我們着急趕車，老闆從上午就開始聯繫順風車，最後還是坐的老闆弟弟的車到的荔波客運站，臨走前老闆還送了小禮物，特別感謝！

客棧在五眼橋附近的小寨子裏，客棧外就是一片稻田，風景優美。房間很乾凈，有空調，各種洗漱用品，拖鞋，沒看到吹風機。但是，這是在大山裡，能有這個條件已經很不錯了，關鍵，他家的大公雞8點之後才打鳴。老周為人熱情，菜做的好吃，而且山林知識、穿越經驗、求生技能豐富，一路上交給孩子很多知識，認了很多植物和動物，孩子滿身泥濘但玩的巨開心。對了，自家釀的青梅酒很好喝，走的時候買了一些。

優點：民宿是最質樸的民宿，老闆人非常好，推薦跟老闆去探洞和徒步，一路上的講解非常好。老闆煮飯非常好吃，是廣州人認證好吃的白切雞。民宿去探洞的入口非常近，去清龍潭玩水也很近。天台可以晾衣服。
缺點：畢竟是原始森林，還是會有點蟲子，老闆會提醒如何防蟲。

小周老闆和老周老闆熱情接待，飯菜量足味美。爬完山徒步回來，吃熱菜配青梅酒，簡直完美！老周老闆當嚮導帶領徒步，新手也能完成穿越森林的壯舉，路上不斷吸收知識認識各類植物動物，一路歡聲笑語。最值得表揚的是，民宿裏還有洗衣機和晾衣架，徒步的衣服可以直接接清洗。在露台觀星也是晚上的附加休閑活動，酒量好的朋友可以和老闆晚上喝一點，解乏放鬆。
