Fly Hotel

The reception and restaurant staff are terrible their service is bad they have bad attitude like they don't want you to be at the hotel I felt unwelcomed they treat customers bad. I have informed my company about the bad experience of this hotel and advised them not to deal with them again. Oh yes be careful at the restaurant at dinner time you will find a white piece of paper on the table " Meals on special " they will tell you your company is sponsoring this but it's a lie.

The rooms are good. Big and comfortable. Aircon not great but just ok. Very convenient for flights. Short walk. No noise though. So why I give 1 out of 5? Most other parts are not good. Bar is a ripoff. $10 for draught beer. $6 for local bottle beer. 86c in local shop for same beer. Staff in bar were ok. Breakfast was $35 for breakfast. Over $5 for a coffee. Staff at reception not helpful. On paying at checkout it was difficult. Refused to give a bill for me to see and check. Just wanted to take card off me and put in machine. I had no idea how much she was charging. Then she charged wrong amount (too little) so needed to make another payment. I see the positive feedback is all 8 year ago. I would stay clear of this place.

I stay here a few times for a 1 night stay to catch a flight to Port Gentil the next morning, some rooms are better than others but on this occasion there was a few issues, electricity in my room kept cutting out and then back on again (my other colleagues didn’t have this issue and were here same time so was only my room) and the shower didn’t really drain properly either few mins and it was time to switch off before it got flooded

We had to get a room last minute because of a missed flight and were pleasantly surprised. Reception was very welcoming and although they were fully booked they found a solution for us with a free upgrade. The room was clean and comfortable but could use a little breakfast nook for a coffee in the morning. FYI: Restaurant is overgoing renovations so you can only eat around the pool area and in room.
