I stayed with my friend in the hotel for 10 days at the start of August. The good points of the hotel was that the room was clean on arrival, there was good WIFI throughout the hotel, the staff were friendly and the pool was great. The hotel is right on the beach, with plenty of sun loungers available both on the beach and by the pool. A downside for us was that the room was tiny, although had a small balcony this would be ok if you don’t plan to spend much time in the room. The room had a fridge, air con, a safe and a TV. The bathroom is a wetroom and the shower wasn’t great. The hotel itself had a quiet atmosphere which is pleasant but in future we would consider a hotel with some evening entertainment (or at least some music) as the hotel bar was quite dark and quiet in the evenings. We also thought there would be more bars etc. in the resort in general so ended up spending most evenings in the hotel. The breakfast was average however most morning when going to down at 9am (breakfast from 8am-10am) some of the items had not been refilled (or would take a long time to be filled). The evening meals were ok, with 3 types of pasta and a meat and fish option there was usually something to my taste, however after 10 days the options were starting to repeat. We booked through TUI, and although the rep was only available on certain days we were able to book the day trips we wanted to Venice and Verona (both trips are definitely a must). Also should mention, the plug sockets in the hotel room was different to other sockets I’ve experienced in Europe so my adapter plug unfortunately didn’t fit the sockets by the bed (my fault for not checking!) however it did fit in the bathroom plug. Overall nice hotel, maybe a little dated but a great base for visiting the surrounding area or a short holiday. If staying for longer, you may consider eating elsewhere some evenings for more variety. Thank you for a good stay!

Just got back from eleven nights at the Ambasciatori. Much larger rooms than is commonplace for the resort, super balcony, air-conditioning included and a fridge albeit of questionabke age. A good sized swimming pool, excellent breakfasts (eggs cooked on a hotplate in front of you), croissants, cold meats and coffee. Evening meals outstanding in quality considering it's a buffet. Negatives? My shower was little more than a trickle, very low water pressure, but it was hot. Evening meals necessitate being ready at the off, very much a rushed affair and with it being a buffet service almost inevitably people overeat: my own fault of course but now my clothes don't fit. I found the staff in the hotel so very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Tips? Use the hotel's bicycles to explore the resort and surroundings. Super markets in Jesolo Paese (Friday) and Cavallino (Tuesday).

Another fantastic stay at the Ambasciatori Palace. This was our fifth visit in seven years and every bit as enjoyable as the previous ones. Fabio [the manager] is an absolute legend and along with his staff make everyone feel at home. For me the positives:- 1) the food.Authentic Italian 5 course dinner 2)beach front location, with beach sunbeds &pool also. 3)free use of hotel bikes to explore the surrounding area 4)friendliness and efficiency of the staff 5)charming art deco interior 6)great value for money. The negatives:- 1)rooms are a bit small. 2)can be noisy at weekends. 3)dinner is a little rushed with only an hour or so for 5 courses. Looking foward to returning again next year

I’ll start straight away by saying that this is not a pram friendly hotel whatsoever. If you have a baby in a pram just stop reading now and find somewhere different. There are 3 lots of stairs just to get into the hotel. Then a couple stairs to get to the bar area and then another long flight of stairs to get down to the pool area. No ramps anywhere. There are also stairs to get down to the evening meal. There is a service lift that you can use but you have to walk through the kitchen which definitely doesn’t build your apatite and there’s still stairs you need to go up to get to the pool. It was impossible some days. The breakfast area also did not have a highchair so I had to try keep my 18 month old still on a normal chair to eat. However if I was without a pram or baby this would not of affected me one bit. The location was perfect I really liked being in a beach resort and travelling into Venice one day. You do this by getting a half hour bus then a half hour ferry over. 25 euros return. There are bars and restaurants everywhere. Beach bars every 100 yards. The sand is so beautiful no stones or dirt. The area was spotless. The hotel is dated but that didn’t bother me. The food. The breakfast was fine chef making fresh eggs, bacon and sausages (hotdogs) toast croissants jams etc. The dinner I would say wasn’t worth it, not much there at all also there’s so many places to eat. I would suggest b&b rather than half board. Our experience wasn’t great due to having a small child in a pram. There was also much nicer hotels the whole way along that beach front but for what we paid was fine. I would 100% go back to the area just not this hotel.

Always a great pleasure when staying at this hotel. The management and staff always make me feel I'm one of the family. Always a great selection of food to choose from and great quality. Single room perfect for my requirements, always kept very clean just as the rest of the hotel. Can't thank the staff enough, can't wait to return. Highly recommend, perfect location for me ten out of ten. Already looking to book for August or September

We just returned after a 5 night stay. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is dated but I think it adds to the character and charisma. Very welcoming and staff are always friendly and polite. Rooms are small and basic but that’s all you need for a beach holiday. Somewhere to shower and sleep. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the pool guy works endlessly. The location is superb. Food was plentiful and more than adequate in quality.

This is my fourth time in Lido di Jesolo. First time at this hotel. Positives first. Great location right on the sea front and close to the local shops and restaurants. Nice friendly staff and a nice selection of food at meal times. Negatives now. Classed as a 4*. Maybe back in the 80s but not so much today I'd say. Public areas are nice but the rooms are dated and in need of renovation. For the fairly cheap price I paid this is ok but don't expect 4*. Also Tui state that it's a non smoking hotel yet in reality it's smokers paradise. You can smell it wafting into your room and when you eat at breakfast don't expect to be able to eat on the veranda as they seem to allow smokers to light up. Breakfast and evening meal are both buffet style which creates a bit of a scrum especially the evening meal because they only give you a hour to get your food with limited availability. Overall if you want a great location at a reasonable price and don't mind roughing it a little then this might be ok for you.

We had a great time here in Ambasciatori Palace Hotel. Clean hotel. Large reception lobby to relax..aircon during summer would be nice in the lobby. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Clarissa at the bar and restaurant is excellent in her work, very attentive, friendly and happy. Marco the chef is very welcoming and friendly, Mirca, Fabio and another young receptionist are very friendly and helpful. The man looking Fter the pool is doing fantastic job to keep things tidy. I must say all the staff at the hotel are excellent. We loved the breakfast and the dinner too. The hotel has a private pool where you can relax or go to the beach which is a few seconds away from the hotel compound at the back. The hotel has their own beach beds, beds which are laid opposite to the hotel. Room is a bit small. But overall the hotel is at a very convenient location and is next to the beach and very close to the local shops and plenty restaurants. There are many gift shops and evening amusement along the street which is closed of so people can walk about freely. The place is very recommended for families and individuals too. The place is about an hour away from Venice. Tickets can be bought at the Newsagents called Tabacchi. There is lot of things to do for kids so that they are entertained. Supermarkets are nearby too. We really enjoyed our time in Jesolo we will visit again. Thanks Kenneth 216 219
