Lijiang Pu Zhi Designer Hotel HOLIDAY VILLA (The Old Town of Lijiang South Gate）

We had an amazing stay at 朴致酒店 in Lijiang Old Town! We upgraded to the V5 room and it was absolutely worth it — the bed was super cozy, the bathtub was large and relaxing, and the automatic toilet was a nice modern touch. The hot water was consistent, and we loved the high-quality toiletries — the shampoo, body wash, and lotion all smelled great and felt luxurious. The service here was beyond impressive. From the moment we arrived, staff helped carry our luggage through the Old Town to the hotel. We were offered thoughtful touches throughout our stay — delicious afternoon tea, fresh fruit, sweet soup at night, a hearty breakfast, and even laundry service that washed and dried our clothes in just 3 hours! We were truly amazed. All the staff were incredibly polite and helpful, always going the extra mile. They greeted us warmly every day, quickly assisted with our room heating, and gave us genuine advice on what to buy locally. Even on our departure, they helped carry our bags — something we truly appreciated. A special thank you to 小黑, our butler from 朴致酒店. She was exceptional — attentive, friendly, and professional. Her service made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Lijiang Old Town!

Stayed here on the first day in Lijiang, the experience was superb. We can tell that they pay attention to details in the design, the service and the amenities beyond mere aesthetics. The hotel staffs helped us to carry the luggages from the ancient town entrance to the hotel as vehicles are not allowed to go in, then they greeted us with warm towel and rose pastry while helping us with the check in process. Their service made us feel very comfortable during our stay.

Location is secluded from bustling 古城南门, quiet. Might not be suitable for travellers who prefer easy access to 北门， not far but still a short walk. Room fully automated with AI 小狄 to control all switches. Lol. May not be user-friendly for some if cant speak fluent Chinese to give instruction to 小狄. But 小黑管家 is helpful. She helped to arrange and coordinate with our next hotel to move our luggage from Puzi to Cathay, which is about 1km away. We are thankful for 小黑管家 kindness.

this hotel really feels like a home away from home. there is no lack of effort on the hotel's side to make your stay as comfortable as can be! once you step in, you will rest and enjoy some drinks, snacks and hot towel while the hotel staff handle the admin of checking in. then, after going to the room for a bit, we went to the super nice lobby for a nice afternoon tea with cakes, fruit and your choice of hot/cold beverage. at night, there will be a warm dessert. it was snow fungus with pear on 1st day and red bean soup on the 2nd day. the lobby is always open to any requests like a cup of hot tea at 10pm and they can even pack some food and drinks for you if you need to leave early for a day trip. we've never had a more comfortable hotel stay! room was really clean and the decor is beautiful! super highly recommended! best hotel, in my opinion!

Cool accommodation with a blend of ancient architecture with smart AI tech. Free afternoon tea and night dessert. Breakfast selection was limited but the food was really tasty. Cars are not allowed in the ancient town, but the hotel will arrange for a porter to deliver your luggage on a tricycle from the alighting point on the main road to the hotel.
