Fantastic! It has a very authentic Yunnan feel with stunning views, blooming flowers everywhere. The owner upgraded our room for free, and the private balcony with a view was perfect for photos. My kids absolutely loved playing with the birds at the front desk. The owners were incredibly warm and hospitable; they not only helped with transfers and luggage but also brought oxygen when we experienced altitude sickness. They even arranged a private car for our trip to Dali and recommended local delicacies. You can really feel their dedication. The guesthouse's little courtyard was so calming and therapeutic. Because of this place, my impression of Lijiang soared! Everything we encountered in Lijiang was so delightful. Just a friendly reminder to everyone, especially those coming from low-altitude areas: make sure you get enough rest and sleep before heading out, otherwise, it's super easy to get headaches and feel unwell.

The hotel contacted us a few days in advance for train pick up and drop off. Once we arrived at the hotel, it was beautiful and convenient within the ancient town. We picked a river view room and it was a bit small and noises from the river. They switched us over to the biggest suites with no cost. They even recommended some yummy restaurants, offering sightseeing with a discount. Afternoon tea, latte or juices served. 5+ star stay and recommended. I would definitely stay here again.

Since we had to leave early to catch the sunrise over the snow-capped mountain and couldn't have breakfast at the guesthouse, A le thoughtfully prepared takeaway breakfast for our journey. It was such a warm-hearted and considerate gesture! We were also given a little gift at the end, which made us very happy. The overall experience was outstanding. Our trip to Lijiang was made even more perfect thanks to this wonderful guesthouse and the amazing A le. Highly recommended!
